Lousy products that push politics and wokeism above their core business - which is entertainment!
And taking political stands totally outside their business and alienating potential customers.
Evidently this guy spent too much time as a youth, in
Fantasy land.
This is the gaslighting game. They provoke you then you are the guilty one according to them when you dont want to give them money to fund the next garbage reboot.
These are the products of the seeds that 0bama planted so proudly..
Also, he should have told Ford to take a hike and said there's going to be a new Indiana Jones actor. Now I read that because of Ford's petulant behavior, they're not going to make any more Jones movies.
Disney is just too big, they're the Ma Bell of the entertainment industry.
Reap!
It’s those darned Christian Nationalists fault. Not our crappy content.
what a freaking moron.
Just make movies that are ENTERTAINING and STOP trying to push various liberal agendas on us!!!!
It is THAT simple!
If any liberals are watching this imagine if nearly every movie and show made had women pregnant and in the kitchen barefoot, every joke made fun of liberals, and then they remade shows like Shaft and always cast the main character as a white man and then remade the color purple with white ladies and thelma and lousie is now played by two men!
It is FREAKING annoying!
Critical Drinker is my go-to now.
If he doesn’t like it, I don’t go.
"Everyone says 'It's the movies, stupid,' which is an easy thing for people to say. More appealing movies are a great way to jump the political issues. But more and more, our audience (or the segment of the audience that has been politicized) equate the perceived messaging in a film as a quality issue. They won't say they find female empowerment distasteful in The Marvels or Star Wars [the latest trilogy starring Daisy Ridley), but they will say they don't like those movies because they are 'bad.' So 'make better movies" becomes code for 'make movies that conform to regressive gender stereotypes or put men front and center in the narrative.' Which is what you're seeing now, and what Bob [Igerl's pivot is about right now." — A Disney executive
Samuel Goldwyn (I think)
I have stopped watching new movies and TV shows because everything about them is so bad--the stories, the acting, the constant in-your-face political correctness and "inclusiveness." I've taken to catching up on all the good TV series from the 1960's that I've never seen and revisiting a lot of old favorites (currently I'm going through "The Outer Limits." and "Voyage To the Bottom of the Sea"). I ran across an old and obscure TV Western series that I never heard of called "Outlaw" from about 1961 or so. Episode 1 had so many stars and future TV stars I lost count (William Shatner and Cloris Leachman, to name a couple) . It was a joy to watch.
According to documents purporting to come from inside Disney, they have a regimented quota system for everything from producers to directors to writers to actors to film crews and even storylines. If that is true, they handcuffed themselves. There is nothing wrong with using “underrepresented” people per se, but when it becomes regimental and forced, they actually inhibit creativity in favor of appearance of “diversity”. People are not free to produce the best content or hire the best people for a specific project, they are forced to make compromises in various ways to fit the quota system. Meeting the quota becomes more important than the quality of the content, and knowing you have to meet the quotas you end up only being able to make content that meets the quotas; you end up creating content around the quotas because that’s the only way to get it made.
Complaining that the audiences are racist is a bit daft. The content quality obviously suffers, by design, because it is creatively inhibited and actually quite insincere, because it wasn’t developed from creative imagination but designed and created specifically to fit a quota, to check various boxes, instead of being created for maximum enjoyment by maximum numbers of people.
Arrogant attitude from modern reprobates. Doing their part to ruin our world.
I’m proud to say in the past year, I convinced two families to remove Disney from their list of potential vacation plans
Attack your customers—brilliant plan.

Insulting your core customer…… which MBA program teaches that one?
Well, that response should bring the viewers back! I’m sure consumers will show up with Bud Light in hand ready to watch a movie about 2 hispanic trans-stingrays and three black non-binary angel fish (of which one is missing a fin) looking for their jointly “birthed” (via a porpoise surrogate)lost minnow who was kidnapped by the big white whale.
Ya think?
We just want to wipe all white heterosexual Christians out of America, but please come see our movies or you’re a bigot.
Is that about right?
