IF YOU’VE been watching the situation in Israel, you’ll have noticed a contradiction. On the one hand, the Americans, the British, Australian and EU politicians and officials have been queuing up for photo opportunities on the Gaza border to express their solidarity against the horrific Hamas attack of October 7. On the other hand, in almost every case and the passage of a few days – even minutes – the same people effectively blamed Israel in general and PM Benjamin Netanyahu in particular for causing the problem by oppressing the ‘poor Palestinians’ and failing to provide Statehood.
Confused? Let me explain.
Since a free and fair democratic election in November 2022, Netanyahu has led Israel’s coalition government. One of his primary campaign goals was to clip the wings of Israel’s Supreme Court, which shockingly has greater powers than its elected government, as expertly explained by Eugene Kontorovich.
By seeking to restore the democratic balance over unelected judges, Netanyahu drew the ire of Israel’s liberal, secular anti-Zionist elite – a group I estimate at over 95 per cent in its MSM (read Times of Israel, Jerusalem Post or watch any TV outlet), many retired Israel Defense Forces (IDF) generals, senior security intel and backroom oligarchs. You may have seen reports of the mass demos in Tel Aviv’s streets last year protesting against Netanyahu’s ‘attack on democracy’, when actually he was defending it. Ironic.....

An exception to Marxists' hatred of religion is their tolerance of Islam. It appears that Islam is tolerated because it can be used as a cudgel to destroy a more immediate religious force, Judeo-Christianity.
Side note: As soon as Marxists have destroyed Judeo/Christianity, Islam and Muslims will be eliminated. This is thought to be an easier task because Islam is so obviously nothing more than a primitive human fabrication.
He’s a damned fool if he’s making plans that include the U.S. sticking by him through a total war with Iran, Hezbollah, Syria, Iraq and probably others. Netanyahu will leave greater Israel occupying an area from river to sea or Israel will most likely be destroyed. I fear the latter.
There’s probably no difference between Netanyahu and those “Western liberal elites.” He’s a career political hack with an Ivy League education. His U.S. contemporary from his earlier years living in Boston was none other than Mitt Romney. They seem like two peas in a pod to me.

This demonstrates what we’ve seen for ourselves all over the West in the covid era – the gap between the people and the establishment elite, as evidenced by ‘experts’ drawn from whatever source fits the establishment agenda, with no balancing counter-argument given airtime.
The Americans jumped on the bandwagon too. Biden sought to interfere in Netanyahu’s stand against Israel’s Supreme Court. Shockingly, Biden refused to invite him to the White House, something no American President to my knowledge has ever done.
Come October 7 the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, tripped over himself to get to Israel. Remember how the Carrier Battle Group was immediately deployed to the eastern Mediterranean to ‘threaten Iran’, and Biden’s threat, ‘don’t!’ supposedly directed at Iran? Hmm. We witness Blinken’s regular shuttle diplomacy, publicly voicing support for Israel’s war while in the next breath imposing more restrictions on how the IDF should prosecute it – more aid, smaller bombs, less force, no all-out war against Hezbollah. You’d almost think he wanted Hamas to survive.
Obama’s Middle East policy was to boost Iran and weaken Israel, as evidenced by the billions of dollars sent on pallets to Tehran and the approval of its nuclear programme. Meanwhile, Biden cancelled Trump’s sanctions while authorising America’s vast buffer stocks of weapons to be moved from Israel to Ukraine.
Some commentators, myself included, saw that battle fleet deployment not as supporting Israel, but tying Israel’s hands against a pre-emptive strike against Hezbollah, which every day since 7/10, has launched volleys of missiles against Israel’s north, resulting in the permanent evacuation of 80,000 residents from the border towns. Yes, it’s true Israel would probably prefer to fight one battle at a time – to destroy Hamas – but it was unprecedented that America should so publicly meddle in Israel’s right to autonomous, unilateral self-defence.
USA has the communist-nazi-leftist infection BADly, so does UK, Canada, Australia, Israel, France, etcetera. It is killing us.

A pet peeve...these “deep state” controllers of our destiny are dangerous as all Hell....but they are definitely NOT “liberal” in any traditional or classical sense of the term...-— indeed, they’re the antithesis (opposite) of liberal. Calling them “leftist” is far more accurate. They’re wed to the greatest possible governmental power (in their hands, for their own benefit of course) and control over the lives of citizens/subjects/slaves. They despise individual liberties and representative governance (they don’t want you or me represented or possessed of any influence at all, period). As for free markets, forget it...they want full power over what’s available for purchase and to whom.
None of these things have anything to do with genuine liberalism. Rather, they have a great deal to do with the Communist Manifesto. Political correctness (wokism) is not a political issue but a spiritual battle. It is the secular humanist elite's religion: see the destruction it has wrought on our society. It is war every bit as real as on the streets of Gaza.
And it is also why they hate the traditional, nationalist Netanyahu, in my opinion one of the finest post-war leaders, who out of necessity is acting militarily to expunge the threat to his nation. His detractors demand he cede – reward terror with Statehood (the Palestinian Authority pays stipends of American dollars to families of the October 7 terrorists under the ‘pay for slay’ policy) – and be disappeared quietly so he can (like Trump, Bolsonaro, Khan and others) be locked away while the globalist project proceeds unopposed. Nation state democracy remains its greatest threat. That is they hate Netanyhu and why Israel's war is our war.
At the risk of fomenting controversy on this august forum, I say: Amen to that.
Using a fabricated religion to imbue people with guilt when they disobey the rules (even rules organized by the state) is a very effective way to control people, individually and collectively.
It works much better than mere discipline by an atheist state's police force.
Violating state laws and rules doesn't make people feel guilty the way violating religious laws does. In fact, violating state laws with no religious foundation might even give people a sense of satisfaction and pleasure (like they've pulled a "fast one").;-)
Netanyahu is a battle-hardened military veteran who holds multiple degrees from MIT. He is friends with Vladimir Putin. The two of them together with Trump are the only Western leaders with any brains and balls. You are something else entirely.
