Jill and I wish a very Happy Kwanzaa to all those celebrating across America and around the world. May your homes be filled with hope, peace, and light. And in 2024, may we carry with us the wisdom of the seven principles of Kwanzaa — especially those of unity and faith.
That was a December 26 post from White House resident Joe Biden. The Delaware Democrat failed to mention anything about the holiday’s founder Ron Karenga, also known as Maulana Karenga and Ronald McKinley Everett, born in Parsonburg, Maryland, on July 14, 1941.
As Hollie I. West of the Washington Post noted, Karenga was a political activist in the late 1960s and came to prominence as a theoretician of the black nationalist movement. In “The Quotable Karenga” handbook, the Kwanzaa inventor told followers: “When it’s burn, let’s see how much you burn. When it’s kill, let’s see how much you kill. When it’s blow up, let’s see how much you blow up.”
...
In 1971, a court convicted Karenga of kidnapping and torturing two women in his organization. According to “Karenga Tortured Women Followers, Wife Tells Court,” from the May 3, 1971 Los Angeles Times, Karenga stripped naked Deborah Jones and Gail Davis, whipped them with an electrical cord, and beat the women with a karate baton. The Kwanzaa founder also stuck a hot soldering iron into Davis’ mouth, and used a vise to clamp down on one of her toes.
...
Joe Biden hails those celebrating Kwanzaa “around the world,” but in many countries, even in Africa, a ballpark figure could be zero.

Aren’t we supposed to wish people a Kwazy Kwanzaa?
Happy Boxing Day Joe...
December 26 has always been Boxing Day for my family ...
Another day with a big meal...
It’s a phony non starter holiday started by a criminal.
Unlike the Chinese Spy Balloons, it won't fly very far. 🙂
Thanks for posting. Thanks to Lloyd Billingsley for posting. History BUMP! EVIL collective BUMP!
General Dynamics Land Systems hired some black, female graduates from the local historically black college to work in HR and produce a newsletter. The first issue featured an extensive article on an early labor leader. His name, which I have forgotten now, sounded familiar so I looked him up. He was convicted of murder, extortion and a few other crimes. None of this was in this puff piece article. I took a printout to the HR manager. He rolled his eyes and said, “Yeah, the company wanted these girls and effectively gave them control.” Obviously, for whatever reason, he was hands-off.
I take it colleges today are producing graduates who say things like, “This is my truth.” I’ve heard numerous people say that when they are questioned or presented with facts contrary to whatever they are saying. My truth. In other words, a lie.
LOL!
We’re unfair if we don’t see the similarities between these two:
In “The Quotable Karenga” handbook, the Kwanzaa inventor told followers: “When it’s burn, let’s see how much you burn. When it’s kill, let’s see how much you kill. When it’s blow up, let’s see how much you blow up.”
Just hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring tingle tingling too
(Ring-a-ling-a ding-dong-ding!)
Come on, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is falling and friends are calling “Yoo hoo!”
Come on, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you
(Ring-a-ling-a ding-dong-ding!)
Our cheeks are nice and rosy and comfy and cozy are we
Were snuggled up together like two birds of a feather would be
Let’s take the road before us and sing a chorus or two
Come on, it’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you

“It’s a phony non starter holiday started by a criminal.”
He ran a group called United Slaves which was a more cultish version of the Black Panthers. They were fighting the Black Panthers for control of the the Black studies department at I believe UCLA. That culminated with a gun fight. He did time for torturing some of his followers with a soldering iron. The last I heard he was a professor.
Just the kind of guy I want dreaming up my holidays.
Perfect. Just Perfect..
I am surrounded by black people and it doesn’t seem anyone gives a fat rat’s behind about Kwanza.
Blacks don’t celebrate Kwanzaa.
There are some, but vast majority don’t. So, basically you are correct. 🙂 👍
Patty Hearst wants her Symbionese Liberation Army holiday back.
Not a lot different from Obama. He bought his home in chicago and invited as a house guests many times Bill Ayers and his wife Bernidette Dohrn were two of the founders of weather underground. Look them up and you’ll find just how such good people Obama tied himself to. They were invited to the white house. Same old, same old....pattern.

Karens rejoice!
FU Joe.
