At the macro level, we see that The Federal government has gone wild spending money and borrowing it. Much more than businesses and households. Biden's wild spending reduces the degrees of freedom that Treasury has if the US slips into another recession or depression.

One Trillion dollars just to pay interest on the debt. I can still remember when the entire federal budget was under a Trillion dollars. When entitlements get too big Governments historically result to the printing press to pay for everything . Invest in gold. Gold never gets old. And guns too. So you can keep that gold.

Absolutely, and it will be a full on depression. And no one has a garden and chickens in the back yard anymore. There are going to be a whole lot of hungry folks...

Difference being businesses and private households don’t have the same kind of pricing presses at their disposal.

Must be nice to spend as other people money and not have to worry about getting your own paycheck.

Kalifornia’s $68 billion (atm) deficit:
“But never fear. “Billions Biden” will make sure California is okay, at least until the 2024 Presidential election.”

Indeed, he will.

Wife and I just went to the grocery store Friday. We bought about $150 worth of groceries - but we had to pay $250.

Where did the other groceries we paid for, but did not get, go?

They went to someone that was a friend of the Democrats; the Democrats that print and give away tons of money to their friends.

The hay we worked all of our lives to put in the barn has been devalued. By a bunch.

Is t it odd that the very people who drone on endlessly about “sustainability” of everything are totally ignoring the one thing that is completely unsustainable and matters far more than all the other things combined?

Thank you for referencing that article Kaiser8408a. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

"Government Gone Wild! [??? emphasis added] Federal Government Debt Soars Compared To Business and Household Debt"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

The voters need to take responsibility for the unconstitutionally big government that they have created as a consequence of reelecting career lawmakers who are not transparent how taxpayer dollars are being spent.

That being said, the next major political event in the U.S. is not when hopeful Trump 47 is elected for a third time, but Democratic and Republican Trump-supporting patriots getting ready ASAP to support Trump by primarying ALL state and federal, lawmakers and executives up for reelection in 2024, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company (and others?), for the 2024 primaries.

The crook lawmakers that misguided voters keep reelecting for unknown reasons need to be replaced with patriots who will not only support hopeful Trump 47 to finish draining the swamp, but will also do the following. New lawmakers also need to support Trump in leading the states to put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes by effectively "seceding" ALL the states from the unconstitutional big federal government by repealing the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A).

Consider the repealing of 16&17A as part of reparations for victim taxpayers of the unconstitutionally big federal government for having to pay a lifetime of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot reasonably justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers and a few other constitutionally enumerated expenses.

In fact, consider that since one of the very few powers that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the big, bad federal government to dictate peacetime domestic policy is to run the US Mail Service (most federal domestic policy actually based on stolen state powers imo), the worst problem that the country would otherwise be looking at with a new Congress of Trump-supporting freshman lawmakers is arguably that citizens that would get into the habit of lightheartedly questioning if the federal government has shutdown if they receive their mail a few days late.

The definition of insanity is reelecting your beloved career state and federal lawmakers and executives over and over again, expecting those same politicians to find remedies for unconstitutional government policies every time.

Let's not allow ourselves to be fooled for third time in 2024 by the corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties that have pirated control of state and federal governments.

Again, consider that corrupt political party and media fuss about "obsolete" electoral college is because the electoral college is the only thing stopping the corrupt political parties from establishing a permanent puppet presidency that will unquestioningly sign unconstitutional taxing and spending bills into law.
