Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

I miss my little cat buddy. I’d take a pay cut for her to be back and healthy. But, they’re still evil. LOL

It’s one of the ‘UnDead Threads’..............
Our cat just showed up one day and decided to live here.
She acts more like a dog than a cat!.............
“Our cat just showed up one day and decided to live here.”
The male feral cat we had fed on our screen porch for a year was pretty happy. Then one day in 2011 (July 5, to be exact) “he” plopped himself on the sidewalk square in front of our kitchen window, nursing three kittens. So apparently “he” decided the kittens would live with us. The little bubble over her head said, “I’ve had enough. They’re your problem now.”
She went from Darth to Darth-Ann.
So Mom and babies became indoor cats. (Still have Darth-Ann and one baby.)
We were worried about “him” because he had lost so much weight so quickly.
Wait, you have a trans-cat?
Trans cat? Yes, I guess so. She’s conflicted.
Oh, snap!
We were hoping to go kayaking at the county park, but you have to be 18 and have a driver’s license to go in a kayak by yourself, and Frank and Kathleen didn’t want to go in tandems with their dad and me (and neither did I, because it’s no fun paddling with a grumpy kid). We went hiking instead.
I had a cranky kid once, and she was no fun doing anything because she was so grumpy all the time. I hope you had an enjoyable day, anyway.
You’d never know that now!
I’ll send you some pics in a while. Both of my birthday presents came today! What a hoot they are!
I changed my door hanger to a Patriotic theme, since the day is coming soon to remember our War Dead. I need a new hanger, but maybe I’ll find something tomorrow. We can stop at Dollar Tree on the way home.
The brownies turned out tasty, as usual, but the frosting was a little more that I felt like dealing with. It was just to thick to begin with, and that was my fault. But on top of the brownies, the frosting is to die for!
Now, I need to fix Chip’s food. What a patient kitty he is for being a street cat. Maybe it’s because he went hungry so much as a feral, and on the brink of hunger as a shelter cat, having to fight for his turn at the food dish. It’s just a 9” pie pan, one for watered down wet food and one for dry food.
Here, he has his own dishes. If I could afford to buy personalized ones, I would. Just because he’s worth it!
It’s not like he’s going to mistake his dish for someone else’s. The pie tins are a good choice.
When I was contemplating getting a cat in AR, I bought dishes for him, as well as everything else I thought I’d need. But Chip wasn’t in AR, waiting for me. He was here, and all I had to do was move! So he has his own little dishes.
The sanctuary used the pie plates, and I’ve always thought personalized pet anything was a waste of money. I mean, it’s not like the pets can read.
Sweet kitty!
Good morning. Did you sleep well?
I slept eight hours solid. I can’t even remember when the last time was that I did that — probably before CFIDS turned my life upside down. But I feel somewhat better this morning. Not rested, but better!
It’s 65Β°, will be in the low 90s for the rest of the week, then drop into the 80s, where it should be this time of year, so I’m lovin’ it!
Chip seems to sleep based on whether I’m gone for long periods, and I don’t know if that’s because it stresses him for me to be gone, or if he likes it better to be left alone. Strange.
Good morning. It’s raining here.
Jake gets upset when I’m not here, no matter how many other people are.
Not a very good night. I have a sinus headache and a pain in my back. I’m sure it will all improve as the day goes on.
“I mean, itβs not like the pets can read.”
What?!? π
I’m glad they can’t spell v-e-t, c-a-g-e, s-u-i-t-c-a-s-e...
Yeah, I’ll have to remember that!
If I’m gone for an hour, he’s OK. But I was gone several hours Saturday and a couple of hours Sunday, and he slept much longer than usual yesterday. By that, I mean he wasn’t under the sofa, waiting for me to finish fixing his food.
I love that kitty!
I’m so sorry about your sinus headache. And back pain is never fun to deal with. The best I can do is commiserate with you and give you a virtual hug.
I also hope it does improve as the day goes on.
“I love that kitty!”
I love all kitties!
