Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

After 14, I’m 4 under par, and that’s a very good day at Pebble Beach in anybody’s book.

Indeed! (I wish that I could actually golf as well as I guess words... lol)

Good Midweek Morning!

Some unexpected showers showed up this morning and had me scrambling around getting things covered up... wasn’t supposed to rain until Friday... just nuisance showers...

(You are certainly improving your golf game of late!)

For the Par 4 15th hole, I played it straight up as suggested and got to a nice spot on the fairway a bit past and to the right of that ‘pot’ bunker with my drive off the tee... a measured swing with my 5 iron got me on the green in good shape for a very make-able Birdie putt...

That’s annoying, about the rain.

It was... especially since it wasn’t on the forecast an hour before it started! Thankfully it wasn’t a downpour of any sort...

I’m sure she’ll figure it out. It’s something she’s going to have to get used to. It’s just an added stress during the holiday season.

Well...

“When you’re hot, you’re hot.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Deqwt6ORRiY

Off the 15th tee with a ~220yd drive I set up a long iron shot at the green that actually dropped nearly on top of the pin but bounced to a stop beyond it. That left me with a Birdie putt in the 6-8ft range that I put squarely into the cup in vindication of my misspent mini-golf youth.

I take back yet another stroke here on the Back Nine, and move on to the 16th at 5 under.

Good morning. Happy Friday Eve!

We’re back to temps in the 20s in the mornings. It sure moves the Princess along.

Yesterday F-I-L brought up to Mrs. ArGee how he would reject a Christmas gift from his son who had driven the car away. Mrs. ArGee asked him if he was ready to stand die without forgiving his son. He said yes. Mrs. ArGee reminded him of the Lord’s Prayer and asking God to forgive us as we forgive others. No impact. Maybe it will sink in over time.

Anyway, I’m not doing much better on the back nine than on the front nine, but I am getting high scores again.

Good morning. I’m sorry about the continuing family strife.

Theologically, I think God forgives people with dementia.

If it were because of his dementia, I would tend to agree. However, he’s always carried a grudge too far.

Happy Friday Eve! (he says, as another week has just raced by...)

Hopefully your F-I-L’s anger and resentment will pass over time, ArGee...

Bit cloudy start to the day here, promise of sun in the afternoon...

Played the Par 4 16th hole by the book and got on in two... Spent a fair amount of time on the ground trying to get a read on the break(s) of this heavily tilted green... only by sheer luck did the stroke I made curve and arc properly to fall in for the Birdie...

*Yawn*

Good morning. Did you have a good night?

I slept well once I realized I might have heard the supplements being schlepped onto the stoop. Then, of course, I had to get up and actually see for myself. Yep. I don’t know which carrier brought it that late at night, but I don’t think it was the USPS.

But I had a good night after that. In fact, I’ve had a lot of good night since I moved here!

I went to bed before 8:00 and slept pretty well. No cat, not excessively cold. Unfortunately, I can’t go to bed before 8:00 tonight: Kathleen has Scouts.

I keep writing things to post and then becoming side-tracked (Stress over stuff?) only to come back and find a thought half-finished.

*Sigh*

I’m sure dementia only makes a bad habit worse. I’m sorry about that, too. But God is a forgiving God and He will take all things into consideration.
