Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

How much does Santa pay to park his sleigh?
When Mrs. ArGee and I were young and stupid we ran a youth group in the great midwest. We decided to take the group on a retreat in the Rockies one year so we loaded up two carloads full of kids and headed out to a nice sounding campground.
We had a nice big space cabin with a common area and some sleeping areas and it was a very nice place.
Of course, the “facilities” were not indoor. The first night they decided to go en-masse to the outhouse and were pretty rowdy. When they returned, Mrs. ArGee and I asked them to be more respectful of others who might be camping nearby. We were told they were trying to be loud so Jason would know it was a very large group and would not attack.
Be careful what you wish for, eh?
I’ll bite.
How much does Santa pay to park his sleigh?
Now and always.
I hope he loves it.
From the 14th tee I set out to make the green in three strokes. I drove well enough, and had a good second shot, but with the sheer length of this hole, even my decent third iron shot came up a little short of the green. I can’t complain too much, though, as I finished it well: I put my chip shot into the hole for a Birdie.
After 14, I’m 4 under par, and that’s a very good day at Pebble Beach in anybody’s book.

Dear Slings, welcome!
Dear Slings, welcome!
At this point, I don’t care whether he does or not. I just don’t want to look at it any more and I’m glad it’s gone!I made one for FS for his 13th birthday, and finally found the pattern again shortly after I moved here the first time. I made the mistake of telling FD about and and of course, she had to have one for Rob’t, who was, at that point, “The Guy.”
The rest is history. But in lighter news, the Package Bunneh is on his way to your place, so maybe Friday or Saturday will see his arrival!
Another day when I had to struggle to stay awake. Chuck finally made it back to work today, and yes, he had Covid, so he was wearing a mask, and kept his distance. The commodities came, and he was trying to bring some into the clubhouse. He was totally winded, so I went out and helped him to bring in some of the last items.
I got some butter, sugar and flour out of it, which aren’t usually part of the items distributed, and also four pounds of frozen hamburger for helping him.
Good morning. Happy Humph Day!
Not much of a news day around here. It was cooler again this morning but the Princess and I got through it OK. Mrs. ArGee is starting to stress about what she’ll wear to a memorial service on Friday. It’s a bit of a drive so she’ll be gone all day amongst cousins and such that she doesn’t know very well. So what she wears will be important, I guess.
Another low scoring Wordle day. My consistency of last week appears to be gone.

I suggest a black skirt, a white blouse, and a paisley jacket in subdued colors.
Good morning. It is also Odin’s Day here. My hands are cold. Jake says going back to bed is one’s best bet, but I need to get the bros up so we can truck some stuff from our new church building to our old church building.
I’m sure that would work if she has those. But she will be looking at what she has.
Marmalade sez, “Dis mines!”
Good morning. Did you have a good night?
The bathroom is heating up so I can go take a shower, soon.
It’s 31° out with the wind out of the NNE at 10 mph, which isn’t too bad, but still very cold to me!
And 70° in here. *shiver*
Huh. Nothing on the docket for today, although there are several things that are awaiting to be done, there are none that are urgent or necessary at the moment. Maybe I’ll finish decorating the tree. All it has on it is the cornhusk angel and the lights that are tied to it.
I agree with T-c on the attire for Mrs ArGee.
I don’t care for things to be too quiet. It’s almost like a punctuation mark before an unpleasant event.
Pleasure to be here.
What about a gray skirt, a white blouse, and a dark blue sweater?
An Eagle as well!
