Of course we’re living in their world.....people typically don’t “get” a cat.
Katz choose you. And you will like it! π
Dogs have masters,
Cats have staff...
We had one of those in our old neighborhood in Georgia. Casey the Maine Coon took out a colony of sewer rats, and was feared by dog and cat when he was out. Unfortunately he was poisoned, possibly by anti-freeze, possibly by eating a poisoned rodent. He loved people. Rest in peace, big guy.
i’ve always liked it...
True!
RIP to Casey the Maine Coon. I can only imagine what a gentle giant he was
This is hilarious! Bully cat.
Exactly!
Cat wanted to play. Otherwise it would have had an arched back, with body fur standing up, and a hiss, or low howl or growl. Sweet doggie just wanted to be with its’master..
Oh #metoo!!!
I have 2 doofuses who completely run the household π
π€£ totally
Years ago, I was at the home of an Irish Wolfhound breeder. We were talking in the backyard and there were about a dozen wolfhounds around. A large tomcat hops over the fence and walks in straight-line to the garage right through the middle of the pack of giant wolfhounds who parted like the Red Sea in front of Moses. I looked at the breeder who stated that each of the dogs had crossed that cat ONCE and wanted no part of him and the cat pointedly does things to remind everyone who is the boss.
Our pets have all gotten a long with each other — all very devoted to each other. But our cats do love teasing the dogs, but they are the first to have each other’s backs when they feel their buds are in danger.
Sometimes I think I want a dog; but I know that they’re not nearly as fascinating as cats are.
We have 2 dogs and then last year a cat joined us - well we found him as a 5 month old in the cold and took him in.
He is really sweet for a cat and only bullies the younger dog (she’s 4 but weighs 21 kg and is a Belgian Malinois mix)
Here’s my take - cats and dogs are both fascinating, but in different ways. And it depends on the individual animal.
4 years ago we had one dog (she died then and we were heartbroken) who was ideal: a lady and very obedient.
Then we got an older stray who is a tough guy (was in the forests by himself for a year and has only 1 eye) and 2 years ago got another from a shelter - and she’s insane.
The cat is a different character as well - but completely unlike what I remember reading about cats: he likes hugs, doesn’t scratch or bite, and is highly active through the day from 4 am to 10 pm.
So, each individual animal has his/her own character.
Lol! Definitely share-worthy. And I can definitely relate (my female cat bullies my female dog).
