Merrick Garland’s DOJ told House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan that his subpoenas for two FBI agents involved in the investigation into Hunter Biden cannot be enforced due to an ongoing investigation.
Last week House Republicans subpoenaed FBI special agents Thomas Sobocinski and Ryeshia Holley to compel testimony on political interference and preferential treatment in the Hunter Biden investigation.
Garland’s DOJ said the subpoenas couldn’t be enforced because Congressman Jim Jordan barred DOJ lawyers at their depositions.
“The subpoenas issued by the Committee prohibit the attendance of agency counsel at appearances by two FBI employees where the Committee has indicated it will ask questions regarding information they learned within the scope of their official duties, including regarding the ongoing criminal investigation,” Carlos Uriarte, DOJ assistant attorney general wrote.

Why is it “unbelievable”?
It may have been unbelievable when JFK’s brains were blown out on a public street.
It may have been unbelievable when the Deputy Director of the FBI conspired with a CIA-connected publisher and two reporters to hound from office a President who had just been re-elected with 520 EV and 61% of the popular vote.
But if you have followed the initiation of Crossfire Hurricane and its offspring, a out in the open criminal conspiracy to prevent a President from exercising the powers of his office starting BEFORE his inauguration and continuing through a brazen plan to “fortify” an election to make sure he was removed from office - and you STILL find this “Unbelievable” -

Everything is an “ongoing investigation”.

To Democrats, the Party is everything. Anything and everything can and will be done to protect the Party.
Garland is a loyal Democrat soldier, as are many in the government. They will dutifully “follow orders.” Unfortunately, there is no Nuremberg Tribunal to hold them accountable.
They will not cede power easily.
Unfortunately, it's not. We are at a very bad time in American history.
and yet Speaker McCarthy will allow the DOJ budget to be passed. In fact, we can be sure that he will undermine any efforts to defund the DOJ.
Opening an investigation for the purpose blocking other investigations is obstruction of justice.
