This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Depends on the ship, but very likely, almost certainly.
A 30 lb shaped charge can defeat most tank armor.
The scale indicates a diameter of about 1 foot. Shaped charges can penetrate about 1.5 to 7 times their diameter of basic steel plate. Most ship hulls are much less than 1.5 feet thick.
Another question is how disabling is a hole from a shaped charge on a ship?
A shaped charge typically produces a hole smaller than the diameter of the charge.
How much damage is a six or four inch hole going to do on a large ship? How easily can it be repaired?
Original headline article post this morning:
“Is Ukraine Awakening To The Likelihood That It Will Be Tossed Under The NATO Bus?”
to which, in light of the Saudi, China, Ukraine, other countries Peace Conference which Russia was not invited, I posted this:
“Is Russia Awakening To The Likelihood That It Will Be Tossed Under The World’s Bus?”
The S-storm still hasn’t subsided - hilarious!

I would hazard a guess that there is a penetrator in the charge, as it makes no sense to simply punch a small hole in a ship.
Damage would depend on which compartment is punched into, and what is in that compartment.
An engine space hit could disable the ship easily. My 6 rubles.
So now FR is a SOURCE of US/NATO propaganda. RIP FR.
How so? Free Republic is in California... Which is in the US...
Do we hate California? Do we therefore hate Jim Robinson?
NO!
We hate California’s government and Left wing culture, but not California or Californians.
We are Americans. Are you?
We don’t hate America, just the puppet running the Deep State and all the players therein.
We’re going to take it all back.
Precision strikes against car bridges in Russian-occupied Henichesk and Chonhar have occurred. Both bridges are severely damaged and certainly out of order for a long time. Presumably Stormshadows have been used.

This seems an accurate statement, if irritating to some. I find it interesting when observing behaviors, that there are two individuals who post in this manner. On the same subject and with the same points-of-view.
Interesting also that their fans post such things as cheer one side in a non-NATO war between non-NATO adversaries, when it is fully expected in war that both sides inflict and take losses. Thugs against thugs, which the game of "but they're the good guys" can and is played on both sides of the war.
Hey look! Tank destroyed! Bridge attacked. One side, The other side. Yea, dance and sing.
If the BBC and Reuters are to be accepted, one sees something like the following:
One reads from less than a year ago --- "Ukraine war: US estimates 200,000 military casualties on all sides" 10 November 2022So stepping back from the enthusiasm for deaths and destruction, there is a continually developing demographic reality forming. Attrition. Human beings, not equipment. Who can stick it out the longest?
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63580372Most recently, “"Ukraine war, already with up to 354,000 casualties, likely to last past 2023 - U.S. documents" 12 April 2023
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukraine-war-already-with-up-354000-casualties-likely-drag-us-documents-2023-04-12/In Ukraine – about the size of Texas – more dead so far than US dead in WWII. 291,557 US deaths .
See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_military_casualties_of_war
But far less than Russian dead in WWII. 26 million.

Tick tock.
Erdogan taking Crimea… that would be a juicy plum for him, with all the undersea oil and gas.
Like Putin, a lot of Erdogan’s personal fortune comes from skimming oil revenues. It’s his family’s main business, with both his son and son-in-law holding key positions over the industry.
No way Erdogan plans to ever give it back - but he would be willing to promise that he will. That doesn’t cost him anything, and might be fun.
Turkey could totally kick Russia’s butt in a Black Sea proxy fight. Maybe Erdogan will take more Syrian territory too, while Russia is weakening.
Another impressive shot - dead center on the dividing line!
That is fine, fine shooting.

It seems that you are commenting to yourself about other people commenting - but saying the same thing over and over.

I am confident that Putin was informed of 9 out of 12 missiles being shot down.
"Ukrainian officials issued a notice to mariners that Ukraine may strike vessels near Russia’s Black Sea ports – a measured response to continued Russian strikes against Odesa – Ukraine's main port – since July 17.
The Ukrainian State Hydrographic Service at the State Service of Maritime and River Transport posted a notice to mariners on August 4 announcing a “military threat” in the vicinity of the internal and external roadsteads at the ports of Taman, Anapa, Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Tuapse, and Sochi, until further notice.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense also cryptically tweeted ”Two can play that game,” without further context on August 5 - likely a reference to the Russian military’s continued strikes against Odesa’s port infrastructure since July 17.
This Ukrainian warning may deter merchant activity and international commercial shipping to and from Russia in the Black Sea.""
“12 missiles were fired at the bridge in the Heniches’k strait”
That seems well out of HIMARS range, and would be a lot of Storm Shadows.
Maybe it is a high priority for a good reason.
So tragic!!!
Ukrainian offensive actions seem to be slowing, and “unnamed officials who had been cited in the NY Times article (26 July) about the main offensive being launched, and the 10th Corps being committed, have apparently backed off of those claims.
I wonder if the counteroffensive has culminated. We may be entering a new phase in the war.
ISW, 5 August:
“Ukrainian forces are clearly not committing to large, massed mechanized counteroffensive operations in the Zaporizhia direction as their interdiction campaign proceeds, although they continue to conduct a series of variously-sized but relatively small attacks across the front line that are having the effects of fixing Russian forces in place, tiring them, and attriting them”
(not much happening around Bakhmut either. Apparently Russia has reinforced with a bunch of VDV)
Yet the hole in the road in the bottom image looks more line a HIMARS hit than a Storm Shadow ...

Russian missiles “Dagger” and “Caliber” destroyed dummies of military aircraft in Ukraine
During the recent massive missile attack on Ukraine, our army made a mistake and hit fake Su-24 aircraft instead of real enemy military equipment. We were told about this by two sources in the Ministry of Defense.
According to them, on the evening of Saturday, August 5, “Daggers” and “Caliber” launched a massive attack on the Ukrainian air base in the city of Starokonstantinov (Khmelnytsky region).
The infrastructure was damaged, in addition, the command was informed about the destruction of 12 Ukrainian Su-24 bombers.
These planes are a priority target as they carry Storm Shadow missiles.
Such missiles are very difficult to shoot down by Russian air defense, and they inflict enormous damage on our army by shelling rear territories. including Crimea.
“Unfortunately, the strike failed. Satellite images and data from our agents indicate that we were deceived. We destroyed dummies of aircraft, spending very important missiles on them. Especially for the Kinzhalov,” said one of our interlocutors.
On the night of August 6, attacks on Ukraine continued. Caliber, Geran drones and Kh-101 air-launched missiles hit the same Starokonstantinov and a base near Dubno (Rivne region of Ukraine).
Some of the missiles and UAVs were shot down by the enemy, some hit near the targets, but some hit where it was planned.
On Sunday afternoon, it turned out that more than 15 dummies of aircraft were also destroyed there and not a single real bomber or fighter.
Now the military is figuring out how this could happen, and are preparing to “clean up” the agents in Ukraine, which provided them with incorrect data.
By the way, most likely, it was the planes, instead of which the dummies were destroyed, that struck the Chongar bridge on Sunday, August 6. We will tell you more about this state of emergency later.

“the hole in the road in the bottom image looks more line a HIMARS hit than a Storm Shadow ...”
That was my first impression as well, but I am no expert - just what I got from watching the slow demolition of the Antonivsky Bridge with HIMARS strikes.
PIF posted from another site:
“By the way, most likely, it was the planes, instead of which the dummies were destroyed, that struck the Chongar bridge on Sunday, August 6.”
So maybe it was air dropped munitions of some type on the Henisheck Bridge from the Arabat Spit as well. Russians may have been lying about missiles (were their lips moving?)
In any event - excellent marksmanship!
