Could a 30 pound shaped charge penetrate a ship's hull?

Depends on the ship, but very likely, almost certainly.

A 30 lb shaped charge can defeat most tank armor.

The scale indicates a diameter of about 1 foot. Shaped charges can penetrate about 1.5 to 7 times their diameter of basic steel plate. Most ship hulls are much less than 1.5 feet thick.

Another question is how disabling is a hole from a shaped charge on a ship?

A shaped charge typically produces a hole smaller than the diameter of the charge.

How much damage is a six or four inch hole going to do on a large ship? How easily can it be repaired?

I would hazard a guess that there is a penetrator in the charge, as it makes no sense to simply punch a small hole in a ship.

Damage would depend on which compartment is punched into, and what is in that compartment.

An engine space hit could disable the ship easily. My 6 rubles.
