Osteoarchaeologists can look at a set of bones and tell you whether it’s a male or a female, simply by looking at the pelvis, and the brow areas. I highly doubt that God would have made that difference, as well as the other physical and chromosomal differences between men and women if he wanted people to identify themselves as the opposite sex.
They can believe what they want. Only belief the real God is worth anything.
What is interesting is that “God Almighty”, from the Hebrew Do Shaddai, is translated by some as “ the breasty one”, as in He sustains us completely as a nursing mother sustains her child’s life.

God invented the binary sexual reproductive system in animals. When God decided to walk among us in the form of one of us He choose the male version each time that was recorded in the old and new testaments. In His revelealed word He is always treated as male per pronouns and metaphors (such as being the Father of Israel or the bride groom of Israel). But He has no actual gender outside of these senses. To use the term non binary conveys nothing about God but much about a false idol.
