The fix was in a long time ago. Someone needs to check on deposits into these judges’ bank accounts over the past 2 years.

That’s criteria for a new trial and venue right there.

Unless I’m mistaken (in a normal world).

If he can’t be cross-examined, then his testimony should be inadmissible.

Well, that's a sign that you are waking up to the fact that this no longer is the U.S.A. into which you were born.

Same name, but radically changed into a tyrannical communist nation, by political members on both sides of the aisle, I might add.

“Can’t they get out of that venue?”

The trial has to happen in the district where the supposed crime occurred, so they’re pretty much stuck in DC.

The upside is that DC is federal jurisdiction, so if we ever get another Republican president, he can pardon all of them with the stroke of a pen.

Um... yeah, that’s gotta be appealed...

You have no right to information for your defense???

The FBI agents exposed themselves, proving the defenses case.

Like executive branch agencies, Congress created the lower federal courts.

And as with administrative agencies, I do not understand why Congress does not haul judges in for hearings under bright lights and cameras to explain their outrageous conduct.

The article seems to say that normal cross-examination was allowed, but that normal cross-examination can only include asking questions about what the prosecution had already asked the witness about. From what I have gleaned as a layman this seems to be a normal court rule (at least it was on Perry Mason). It seems what was denied was the expansion of the topic of cross examination into the general corruption of the FBI.

That said, I think the case obviously should simply be thrown out and done and a full on investigation from an independent council should be ordered as its blatantly obvious that this was a political persecution and framing operation by the DOJ and senior FBI members.

However, the particular ruling was not something that goes against normal court procedure...rather it seems to just be following routine procedure in what has become a farce.

I wouldn’t call it a defeat. If someone comes up behind you and beats the crap out of you you don’t say that you were defeated. They are being screwed to put it mildly.
