I wish I could go through a day without having to reference Orwell and Huxley when observing how the ruling class is able to manipulate, subjugate, and propagandize the willfully ignorant masses through lies, deceptions, disinformation, and fear. But here we are, living through a dystopian nightmare blending the worst aspects of Orwell’s 1984 and Huxley’s Brave New World.

Critical thinking and skepticism are important. Understanding the mechanics and functions of groupthink and echo chambers is essential.

Identifying the use of word valence is also key. Watch arguments on FR—the use of extreme valences words and insults are traditional “bullying” and “ridicule” tools used by folks engaging in social engineering.

Of course it’s still a lie. But if a weak mind believes it to be true, then that weak mind won’t see it IS a lie and therefore perceives it to be true.

Think about it. The author isn’t saying it ISN’T a lie. He’s saying to people who believe the lie believe it is the truth.

Think of all the weak minds who believed the many lies the Deep State wove about Trump and they “know” they were true. Think about all the weak minds who believe the “systemic racism” and the “US is a racist country” lies and they “know” those are truths.
