The National Institutes of Health is directing people to an absolutely absurd paper published in the journal Advances in Health Sciences Education. I have no idea how prominent the journal is, but I have a decent idea of the prominence of the NIH. A government agency under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, they essentially determine medical education in this country. The NIH actually invited these authors to lay out their theories of medical education.
The paper is scary as hell. Not quite Canadian medical murder scary, but very very scary nonetheless.
Why so frightening? Well, our NIH is promoting the idea that it is time to dump our current medical education system based upon science-based Western medicine in order to replace it with a more diverse and inclusive one. Our current system is racist, sexist, homophobic, and every other super-bad thing that the woke are desperate to destroy.

“Your tax dollars at work”
I go to a white doctor. I ask white male engineers questions if need be.
My ex girlfriends are all white. I am fine being called whatever.
Ask Steve Jobs about alternative medicine.
I think he’s unavailable for comment at this time.
These effing commies never stop until they are put down like rabid dogs.
Send an IM into “the cloud”...
Sort of like the Government Class Oligarchy as a whole. The only way to get rid of them will be the rabid dog method. Elections won’t do it.
My brother in NY went to the hospital.. We’re all old. Went to visit him when it was touch and go, talked to his doctor, His doctor was Indian. He could hardly speak English. My brother pulled through but we were really worried the doctor didn’t know how to communicate. Are we getting the best and brightest?
My doctor is Filipino but he is knowledgeable, skilled, and considerate, so he is acting white I guess.
Following WWII and thanks to Ike the public had the end results of such practices shoved in their faces. Sadly MacArthur did not do the same with what the Japanese did in the name of "public health" but the records are still there for anyone who cares to look.
So every time the government starts talking about "public health" and they are not talking about the drains I start to worry.
Some think I am over reacting.
They need to go read about what was going on between 1880s and 1945 all over the world. It happened before. It will happen again.
LOL...
Both my Doctor and Dentist are white chicks, so there’s my diversity quotient.
I use the NIH site, all the time, to find and review studies. They, thankfully, record them all.
I do not want “nutty” studies deleted, because studies that matter to be could also be called “nutty,” and deleted.
The one David harps on is not “directed” at anyone, at all.
David Strom lies!
That is, “studies that matter to ME,” not “be.”
Darn typos.
Not comment on Filipino doctors in general, but I once went to a podiatrist from the Phillipines. She didn’t know what plantar fasciitis was...
Maybe she knew in her own language, but it was enough for me to find another health plan.
My Doc is Indian. Educated undergrad in England. Med school in the US. When I don’t understand him, I laugh and say that. He laughs and slows down.
He’s been my doc for about 20 years.
Generalizations are silly. Each relationship is important.
But, from working in a hospital environment I can tell you that you should absolutely explain that you cannot understand the doc. There are ways to communicate that without sounding like “Superior” race. And…if you are not confident in their skills, shrugging your shoulders and going along with it is not going to work out well for anyone.
99% of the I dian docs I worked with in the hospital went into medicine to help people.
Trust in our medical institutions are crashing. The past three years of COVID fraud has destroyed any faith the public had in their doctors, med schools and the pharma industry.
Some of this is good. The pharma industry never existed to save lives. It exists only to make money, regardless of outcome. More people over the years have begun to see this.
The worse part of it is the trust we used to have in our physicians. As essentially arms now of the pharma industry, I don’t see how they get that trust back any time soon.
A good listen is Brigham Buhler on the Joe Rogan Experience. For some, it can be truly eye-opening...
He is also not creating any new memory
Shutter the HHS. We’re broke and we don’t want to be dead. Eliminating the HHS solves multiple problems.
