I hear you. Been using Brave as my browser for quite a while. I recently noticed that new tabs had “Scroll for Brave News” at the bottom. Taking a look it was immediately clear to me that ALL the news sources were liberal. Brave does allow the user to reset the news sources, but the default definitely swung to the Left.

Try https://yandex.com
It’s Russian, many more unfiltered results than domestic search engines.

Liberals will use liberal sources, e.g. MSNBC, CNN etc. and google search engine.
Conservatives will use their sources, e.g. FR, TownHall, etc. and more neutral search engines.
What needs to happen is to get the apolitical masses to use a search engine besides google. To me that’s the key. Find a way to make a neutral search engine attractive to those people.
The neutral browser needs to have good name which kind of rules out Duck Duck Go. :-)

Last time I checked, Dogpile was heavily reliant upon the Google search engine.

I use metacrawler or yandex for less confined searching. Presearch or brave are my regulars.

I tried it with presearch and ecosia and they all pretty much have the same results because they all utilize google in some way.

Just tried that search on Yandex.com. Lots of conservative hits on the first page.

Am not aware of any search engine that lets the user set the filters or the order of precedence.
Anybody know of one?

Thanx everyone for the search engine list.
