Purchasing advertising in the national market. The new marketing and branding group behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis purchase ad time on Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity broadcasts. Marketing nationally, and purchasing expensive full minute ad buys targeting the Fox News audience, is confirmation DeSantis has unofficially entered the 2024 campaign race.
All doubts about DeSantis ’24 should be put to rest. As CTH has noted since August 8th [SEE HERE], the professional political managing of Ron DeSantis for a presidential run has become increasingly clear.

The GOPe club are targeting MAGA voters by providing a manufactured and managed alternative to Donald Trump. That’s why you feel a little cringy when you watch the ad. The inauthentic nature transmits within the implied message.
The people behind Texas congressman Dan Crenshaw, likely the same branding group, did the same thing portraying Crenshaw as an action hero.
Ron DeSantis pre-staging in August ’22 is Ted Cruz pre-staging in August ’14. Everything about Cruz ’16 is identical to DeSantis ’24, including the social media network, influencers and online media groups doing the promotion.
I don’t expect this to be a popular article posting but it’s grist for the mill. There are people in the GOP who view Americans as violins being played and they are not above leading us where they benefit & America & Americans suffer.

I’d say you are shooting with a very wide pattern, try reading the whole article rather than wholesale condemnation from one inelegant sentence, obviously making an inexact judgement but not trying to obfuscate or deceive.

Yes! I live in Florida, he was my Rep before becoming governor, and I have been really impressed. He kept us pretty much free after the first month of the “shutdown,” although Kemp (GA) came out and refused it right away.
Once DeSantis realized it wasn’t going to be 2 weeks but as long as Fauci and Pence could keep it going, he opened up Florida, although of course this was opposed by several Dem/Rino cities such as Jacksonville, civil service personnel (such as the Florida State Parks) who are all Dems, the unions, etc.
Kemp and DeSantis were attacked by Trump (still under the Fauci spell) for doing this. I think that seriously upset relations between Trump and Kemp (GA elections).
But since Trump lives in Florida, he and DeSantis seem to have worked it out.
Also, De Santis is the most up front about challenging the lunacy now being imposed on us by the Federal Government, the press and the unions.
Trump is doing what he can, but he’s a personal target of the leftist regime, and I think he and DeSantis are on the same wavelength now but nobody wants to compromise the other by appearing too much on that wavelength.
I did love the “Top Gov” ad because one of DeSantis’ problems was that he’s not a great speaker (he’s getting better), not super ego-centric and not very dramatic.
Trump has cured him of that, and I think one or both of them will be in the WH in 2024.

Agreed. I like DeSantis, he has done a good job in Florida and in setting up a National dialog about the abuse of power by the Feds.
I don’t want him to be used by the GOP-e and the left as a tool to sow discord, fragmenting support for MAGA.
When you are amoral you can dream up so many schemes to defeat those in your way, schemes that sound sweet on the surface, the better to draw in the flies. The GOP leadership & the entire left are immoral and they combine forces against the American people.

Yes they can. There would be a cost in electoral votes or Trump would elect to have his residency change to one of his other properties, several of which he has had for years.
