If you have followed my reporting you probably know about the protests happening in the Netherlands. Tens of thousands of farmers have taken to the streets to protest against new climate goals which will force farmers to shut down their farms.
They have set hay bales on fire on motorways and dumped manure and even blocked supermarket distribution centers.
According to calculations done by the Finance ministry, a whopping 11 200 livestock farmers will be forced to shut down by the government to reduce nitrogen emissions in order to meet European environmental rules. Another 17 600 farmers would need to reduce the amount of animals they keep to meet these climate goals.

Of course there will be! There will just be less for the little people. And it’s not just meat - it’s dairy and cheese too - some of the finest in the world.
But one thing about the Netherlands, there’s big societal split between urban dwellers and farmers. A friend told me that in the upscale parts of Amsterdam, many apartments don’t have a kitchen anymore, there’s a local grocery shop on the corner that prepares meals for dine-in, pickup or delivery. A society where people may rarely see a raw piece of meat, and where raw vegetables only exist in a salad. Think for a moment - many folks have become so distant from the fundamentals of growing at least a portion of our food that soon we may accept chicken nuggets that might not be chicken. They’ll just call ‘em “Nuggets”

Why is it that some people can’t understand present, future and past tense conjugations in the English language? I see this all the time . “Loose’’ is present tense. As in ‘’On the loose’’. “Lose’’. Future tense . “You will lose the game’’. “I lost my keys’’. Past tense.
No kidding. It’s the odd post that doesn’t have some grammatical or spelling error. Ironically I think you mean Losing is the present tense, Lost is past tense and Lose is future. Loose is not a verb. :-)
