'Never Has America Faced A Greater Threat Than Donald Trump,' Says Guy Who Started Two Wars And Shot A Dude In The Face

WILSON, WY — Former Vice President Dick Cheney, who famously started two wars in the Middle East and shot a dude in the face while hunting, now says Donald Trump is the greatest threat America has ever faced.

"Donald Trump is an evil reprobate and a big meanie, and a danger to our Constitutional rights," growled the retired politician who orchestrated the brutal torture of hundreds of detainees who were held without trial. "We must make sure he never gets elected to office again. And also, vote for my daughter, Liz."

Political consultants applauded Liz Cheney for her brilliant move of tapping on of the most hated politicians in history to help boost her political chances. Initial polling indicates her approval has climbed .0000002 percentage points since Dick Cheney's statement.

"If there's a singular figure universally adored by every hard-working American, it's Dick Cheney," said a spokesperson for the campaign. "We are grateful for his endorsement, and look forward to seeing her represent the citizens of Wyoming."

Trump was quick to respond to Cheney's statement, saying "Poor little Dick Cheney! He's so mad that I got elected president instead of him. Boo hoo! Maybe he should stop shooting dudes in the face! Sorry, Dick!"

At publishing time, Liz Cheney's approval dipped again after her Dad accidentally shot another dude in the face.

Cheney is an open borders globalist just like his friend Bush, who hoodwinked the entire Republcan party, which ended up looting the American treasure of multiple trillions in his 10 year long, “Compassionate war”, all while our borders were intentionally left wide open. And we won NOTHING but a trail of debt and death.

I hoping those in the Republcan party have learned from their really bad decision making skills which cost the country dearly.

In fact, when the shooting accident happened I humorously suggested that two polls could be run and the results compared. One would ask what people thought about Cheney shooting an elderly man and the other what they thought about him shooting a trial lawyer.

As an ex-Halliburton employee I can attest to Chaney’s total incompetence.

That video was shot just before Dirty Dick switched hats (see below), prior to heading out with his trusty hunting musket to go de-face another guy.

The domestic surveillance apparatchik he helped establish was used in an attempt to thwart a presedential candidate of the opposing party in 2016.

THAT attempted coup is the true threat to democracy, NOT the purported “insurrection”.

Well, keep in mind the vast number of FReepers who would defend such a guy in the past. Lots of people support parties over country. The sooner the r’s and d’s die the better.

I suspect Cheney with 5 heart attacks and a heart transplant is fishing for ways to bring in a little income through politics.

The anti-Trump tactic for fund raising laid the groundwork for a political action committee (the Lincoln Project) designed to make money using anti-Trump propaganda. I suspect these 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump, the second time, were influenced by the Lincoln Project:

1. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), the chair of the House Republican conference, was the highest-ranking Republican to vote to impeach Trump after stating, “There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.”

2. Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.) – a friend of President-elect Joe Biden – said his vote to impeach was meant to “send a clear message that our country cannot and will not tolerate any effort by any President to impede the peaceful transfer of power.”

3. Rep. Peter Meijer (R-Mich.), a freshman who replaced Rep. Justin Amash (L-Mich.), said he voted to impeach Trump with a “heavy heart,” accusing him of “seeking to undermine our constitutional process” and “inciting the violent acts of insurrection last week.”

4. Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), one of the most vocal GOP opponents of the QAnon conspiracy theory and Trump’s efforts to overturn the election, said Trump “broke his oath of office and incited this insurrection,” asking, “if these actions are not worthy of impeachment, then what is an impeachable offense?”

5. Rep. John Katko (R-N.Y.) said he “cannot sit by without taking action,” arguing, “To allow the president of the United States to incite this attack without consequence is a direct threat to the future of our democracy.”

6. Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-Ohio) said Trump “helped organize and incited a mob” and “abandoned his post while many members asked for help,” arguing that such actions are “fundamental threats not just to people’s lives but to the very foundation of our Republic.”

7. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Wash.) was given Democratic speaking time on Wednesday to make her case for impeachment, arguing that her vote wasn’t a “fear-based decision” or “choosing a side,” but rather choosing truth, which she said is “the only way to defeat fear.”

8. Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.), speaking on Republican time, said he and other Republicans are “responsible for not speaking out sooner” about Trump and vowed to “use process as an excuse” to vote against impeachment, declaring, “There is no excuse for Trump’s actions.”

9. Reps. David Valadao (R-Calif.) said Trump was the “driving force” behind the attack and said that although he had procedural quarrels with the proceedings, he had to “go with my gut and vote my conscience,” calling Trump’s rhetoric “un-American, abhorrent, and absolutely an impeachable offense.”

10. Tom Rice (R-S.C.) said his vote was based on Trump’s “weak” response to the attack and his lack of repentance for it afterwards, stating, “I have backed this President through thick and thin for four years. I campaigned for him and voted for him twice. But, this utter failure is inexcusable.”
