Twitter announced on Tuesday that it has sued Elon Musk to force him to complete the $44 billion acquisition of the social media company, The Associated Press reports.

The chair of Twitter's board, Bret Taylor, tweeted that the board has filed a lawsuit in the Delaware Court of Chancery "to hold Elon Musk accountable to his contractual obligations."

Twitter's lawsuit opens with a sharply-worded accusation that "Musk refuses to honor his obligations to Twitter and its stockholders because the deal he signed no longer serves his personal interests."

B-but I thought he was a genius who would never sign a contract without first doing due diligence regarding bots and spam.

Okay smart guys at Twitter, be prepared to bend over and have
your privates reviewed in public.

Musk wouldn’t have backed out, if he didn’t have something
like this in mind.

Every person is going to know just how much lying there has
been by Twitter. How many people were real? How many were
bots?

Twitter has astronomical broadband expenses.

It's advertising revenue comes nowhere near covering those expenses.

How are they still in business?

Because Twitter is a CIA operation designed to control global information.

I am sure Twitter/Deep state found a judge that will find a way to throw out virtually any request Musk makes during discovery.

Great. Now Musk has power of discovery, and can force Twitter to release the fake bot data they have been withholding from Musk, in violation of the SEC regulations and the terms of his proposal. These twitter people are so brilliant.

You're suggesting that we're no longer really living in a democracy but an oligarchy controlled by the Deep State through its CIA and FBI minions.

I agree with you.

However, I don't think Elon is much of a step up as far as oligarchs go so I'm not rooting for anyone in this fight.

I think he has a friend on the board who is suing him, this move will then force discovery on Twitter... The twitter board rats left the ship and now this is about holding those who cut and ran accountable... could be wrong, but that is my suspicion. I think Elon has help on the inside from a guy that actually wants to run it. Once they shift all the accountability on those who ran the fraud, it can be bought at a discount and made insanely profitable.

So Twitter is suing someone for not signing a contract with Twitter that Twitter misrepresented itself in?

This is turning into a CF. Musk is ambitious and has many positive traits. But in this case he offered too much money and is now left holding the bag. I don’t blame TWT for trying to make some easy money off Musk.

The MSM is sympathetic to Twitter, and hostile to Musk. I think they’re just creating a narrative that they hope will affect the judge, to be sympathetic to their own leanings and in Twitter’s favor. It wouldn’t surprise me if Musk has more tricks up his sleeve - he’s likely to have projected all the possible scenarios out six ways from Sunday.

“Because Twitter is a CIA operation designed to control global information.”

TELL me you forgot the “/s”
Just say, “Oh, yeah. That was sarcasm.”

‘Cuz I honestly don’t know what to do with:
CIA everything.
Rosicrucian everything.
Freemasonry everywhere.
Lizard people everywhere.
Oh, can’t forget the Knights Templar...
The Rothschilds.
Klaus Schwab.
And the Jooos; always lotsa Jooos behind everything...
Chem-trails.
Flat Earth.
Never landed on the Moon.

If anything THAT’S the stuff of CIA trolls trying to make every last stinkin’ thing about some sort of outlandish midnight AM talk radio-driven conspiracy hypothesis.

All that’s accomplished is making right-minded, decent, Constitution-loving people seem inextricably synonymous with flat-headed, bug-eyed, Skeeter-from-the-sticks, swear-ta-God-I-seen-it, hold-muh-beer, LUNATICS.

Folks moan how the left swats Conservatives around like a red-headed stepchild, yet we got supposed insiders that KEEP ENABLING IT; handing them another stick to swing.

Twitter “has sued Elon Musk.” Big mistake. A person cannot be forced to make a purchase. That’s why forcing people to purchase a covid vax and a govt health insurance are unethical.
