One of the things the Netherlands is claiming is that cow burbs emit ammonia which is a greenhouse gas so they plan to reduce the cattle as well. This is all part of the EU Green Deal so every EU country is going to be going through the same thing.

Future Meat has come further than any other company and now has the cost of fake chicken down to $1.70/lb. Of course it’s all chopped and formed, no actual muscle and bones so chicken nuggets and patties are all it’s good for.
They’re based in Israel and have a location in AZ.
The plan is to have the billionaire class controlling all food. All this fake meat and vertically farmed veggies are patented just like Monsanto’s corn which now accounts for over 90% of all feed/ethanol/grain type corn.

Cost of commercial processing is very high, so I would probably have to do my own butchering too.
I learned long ago that just because meat is not cut “Correctly” does not make it inedible.

2.25 Acre total but not all of it suitable for raising stock.
Goat and sheep take extra effort to make them taste good.
Need to look into smaller cattle breeds.
No natural grass so would have to feed year round.
Have not calculated the cost for that but doubt I can raise my own cheaper than buying.
So last resort if the enviro-scum get their way.
Take a look at Dexter cattle. Compact.
Termites create more methane than all of those sources combined.
