Massive Farmer Protests Continue in the Netherlands, Leading to Empty Shelves
National File ^ | 7/7/22 | Cullen McCue

Farmers across the Netherlands have continued to protest the nation’s draconian climate change policies that will destroy the livelihoods of thousands of farmers. Dutch farmers have used farm equipment to block entrances to food distribution centers, highways and airports. The ongoing protests have led to empty supermarket shelves across the nation.

The protests, which began in earnest on July 3, have erupted in response to a new policy that will force Dutch provinces to reduce emissions anywhere between 12 and 70 percent depending on area. Agricultural areas have been the hardest hit, with the government even admitting that there will be no way to fully compensate the farmers. Among measures the government will be taking includes a massive reduction in the number of cattle farmers will be allowed to manage and the outright buying of farms.

“I think that lots of people got inspired by the Freedom Convoy in Canada, way before the COVID protests started in Holland,” a farmer told Counter Signal. “So lots of people followed the truckers in Canada. And a-lot of those people are joining these convoys now to support the farmers.”

The West is collapsing.

And it isn’t going to recover. The nails in its coffin are being hammered in, in great numbers, every single day that passes.

“Coming to America soon if we don’t eradicate the followers of a retarded Swedish teenage girl.”

Eradicate like the malignant cancer they are.

The West is collapsing.

What's collapsing is the anti-human regime of suppression and control which has been imposed on the West since before our parents were born. It's all falling in on itself from the weight of it's own accumulated corruption and dysfunction. Plus we're at the late stage where opportunists like Putin come along to give it a final shove into the abyss.

We will have the opportunity to built a better West once the demolition phase is over.

Nitrogen in groundwater and the cows are burping ammonia which is a greenhouse gas.

It’s all part of the EU Green Deal so it’s not just the Netherlands. It’s all of the EU.

Link works fine for me on iOS.

…Elena Austin, Sc.D., from the University of Washington, described harmful algae blooms and other ecological damage. Excessive nitrogen is also linked to cancers, reproductive impacts, hypothyroidism, and methemoglobinemia — blue baby syndrome — from inadequate oxygen in body tissues...

All those unelected bureaucrats making proclamations from on high without a clue how things actually get done. Perhaps some starvation will educate them. But of course the bureaucrats are immune from any of their idiocy.

TPTB will blame the Farmers and Fisherman for the supply chain disruption of course. Like Trudeau made the Truckers the enemy. TPTB and their Praetorian Guard will direct the narrative.

The original link works now. Safari reported "Safari can't open the page xyz because Safari can't find the server "factor.niehs.nih.gov".

Interesting info. Thanks for providing the link. Here's another one from EPA "Nitrogen and Water" that provides information on the health effects of nitrogen in ground water and adverse effects on lakes, ponds, and the Gulf of Mexico.

I'm planning a herbicide program to control poa annua ("Annual Bluegrass"). A turf specialist at a university recommended a low dose application of nitrogen with every application of herbicide. We live above a lake and the increasing number of lawns on homes around the lake are causing more nitrogen to flow into the water. One bay at the back of the lake is getting more algae blooms as a result of too much nitrogen in the lake.

Great! Now I have one more thing to worry about.

There have been scattered internet outages around the country the last few days at least. I got that ‘can’t find server’ message from FR and Accuweather yesterday.

One thing can be bet on: Professors dependent on government grants and bureaucrats seeking power are unrestrained by traditional moral concerns such as honesty and fair play. Gimme da money and power, baby!
