The Mouse that squeaked.
Get woke, go broke.
According to Bounding Into Comics, the new Ms. Marvel show on Disney+ has been released with the lowest viewership numbers the streaming service has seen yet. A total of 775,000 households tuned in to watch the new Marvel outing in its first five days, but that's dangerously low compared to other shows such as Moon Knight (1.8 million), Hawkeye (1.5 million), Loki (2.5 million), and WandaVision (1.6 million).
This isn't to mention the flops that were the live-action "Mulan" and "Eternals" movies, the former of which was greeted with mass controversy since it literally thanks the organization tied to a concentration camp for Uyghur Muslims. Fan reactions to Kenobi have been mixed, but many (including yours truly) consider it to be a massive insult to the fans.
This isn't even mentioning that Disney/Star Wars led a campaign to call its own fans racist before the release of Kenobi.
Disney has done what it could to drive away its audience in order to embrace a political message that the majority of America isn't buying.

I see what you did there! LOL
No, the stock decline started before then. So did their power. That’s *possibly* why DeSantis was able to fire back at them with the bill to dissolve the Reedy Creek charter. Disney was still used to owning the Florida state government - they actually *said* that Disney would have this law repealed, like a king dictating to a weak parliament - and they didn’t realize that they no longer had the power they once wielded.
Not with the staff and leadership they have right now. They’d have to fire a good two thirds of management.
It’s falling faster, both as a percentage and in absolute numbers, than any peer stock. Clownfish TV over on YouTube has had a number of videos about that.
The market has been down, but not that down.
RE: Disney’s Stock Price Has Lost 50% of Its Value After Year of Leftwing Political Electioneering and Badly-Received Woke Programming
It’s Ok, they can always point to the current bear market as the culprit. After all, they’re not the only media company whose stock price is down.

Disney stock & earnings can be a split into two categories: Disney Media and Disney theme parks.
My assumption was their media side would be the big revenue side. Both make similar but not exact revenue earnings.
However, the media side has lots of competition in a saturated market.
The theme park side dealt with Covid lock downs but their competition is slimmer and smaller.
The question is can Disney theme park retain earnings in an economic environment that will squeeze tourism?(High energy and higher interest rates)
My answer is not yet, this stock may slide another 25% to 40%.
I posted a message on the Disney website telling the marketing dept that I was cancelling our family trip to Disney this summer. A total of fifteen family members.
Our grandkids were disappointed until I explained why and they understand and praised me for taking a moral stand against woke debauchery.
Disney is just getting what it deserves.
Next will be the movie where Mickey and Donald get married to each other. Go woke—go broke.
Disney: soon to be a penny stock.
Makes you wonder. What is this fetish, and I mean fetish, the left has with homosexuality and little children?
They appear to truly hate anything normal while worshiping the abnormal and the very weird behavior of the abnormal.
Not just having a kinky fetish for drag queens and little children, but being obsessive about pushing it on everyone else.
They talk about tolerance and “inclusiveness” but they are meanwhile compulsively obsessed the abnormal. They can barely talk about anything else.
They seem to be having trouble hiring people for their new cruise line too. Endless ads on job search sites.
Geez, please don’t give them any more ideas….
I have traded stocks on my own for years....Never traded Disney.
