The… Chief … Justice … doesn’t … control … when … opinions … are … released.

Roberts himself is the leaker.
It’s so obvious, that’s why he’s dragging this decision and running out the clock.

I don’t know how they schedule the release of opinions, but once that information was leaked (assuming it’s genuine) they should have modified their procedures to release it the very next day. If the leaker was motivated by a desire to put pressure on specific judges, that leaker succeeded -and that strategy should have been slapped down by an official release as soon as it could be legitimately released.

No release until all protection for Justices and families are in place.

If the release of the decision is delayed until the last day of the court session, the BLM and Antifa goons won't have to wonder anymore when they should gather to inflict maximum murder and mayhem. They will know almost to the hour when the decision is issued and will be totally mobilized.

Another terrible ramification of waiting until the last minute to release the decision.

As soon as whomever is blackmailing Roberts over the illegal adoption of his two children let’s him he will.

My guess is that will be 5PM on Friday July 1 so the Democrat/communists’ stormtroopers can run wild burning down cities under the guise of celebrating America’s Independence Day weekend.

Maybe Roberts is delaying because he is hoping to flip one of the five pro-life justices.

It’ll come out when it comes out….important decisions are usually last.

BTW, important doesn’t mean that it’s going to do anything radical…even if it ends up affirming R vW, which I think it will, it’s important and there will be a before and after.

It’s going to make people mad either way, except that our side is usually less aggressive so probably they’ll decide to placate the more radical side.

But who knows.

I think it is kind of funny watching the democrat insurrectionists trying to put together a decent sized riot every Monday and Wednesday morning, only to go home disappointed.

Supreme Court insiders "claim" that the Supreme Court releases opinions as soon as they are ready, and the more impactful ones with lots of public interest come last simply because they take longer to iron out the details and are more difficult to write.

I think that's a load of bull personally, you can't tell me that every single major case has to get pushed to the last day, that there never has been any that could get announced early. I think they just like building suspense and all the "will they or won't they" news coverage it brings.

I'm guessing the Abortion ruling will be the last ruling on the last day of the term before the Justices hop on planes and fly to parts unknown for the summer.
