BREAKING: Mother trying to save children at Uvalde was handcuffed by federal marshals

After it was revealed on Thursday that not only did police delay their response to sending tactical teams into the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Tex. amid a school shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead but prevented parents from entering, the Wall Street Journal reported that one mother sprinted into the school to get her children, over objections from law enforcement.

Angeli Rose Gomez drove 40 miles to the school upon hearing of the shooting, and she arrived, said "The police were doing nothing. They were just standing outside the fence. They weren't going in there or running anywhere."

Have you ever watched the documentary “One Day In September”? Its about the Munich Massacre during the 1972 summer Olympics.

During the gun battle at Furstenfeldbruck Airport, where 9 Israeli athletes eventually died, one German official asked a German policeman, as they heard the cries of the Israeli’s in the helicopters, “What are doing? You must do something!!”

The german police officer replied- “I have no orders”. Soon after all 9 athletes were blown up or gunned down.

Uhhh…all the kids and the teacher he killed were in the classroom in which he had “barricaded” himself. It the cops had gone in before that, he wouldn’t even have been able to get there.

Further harm? Further harm was in the waiting. There is such a thing as a golden hour, during which the critically-wounded can be stabilized and perhaps saved. I understand the self-preservation impulse. If the cops weren’t willing to risk their own skins, they should have let the parents move in - many will sacrifice themselves for their kids. Every single cop who waited more than 10 minutes and was involved in holding the parents back should be demoted or fired.

40 minutes until the cops went in. Seems like now cops will only go after the generally law abiding to cow them into submission. As long as they all make it home safe, nothing else matters to them anymore. There’s a report that local cops went in and rescued their own kids at the very beginning.

How long does it take for a swat team to show up. Why is there not a rapid response team. How about the robots with guns that’s radio controlled. All afraid they will miss or hit a child and lose the job or get go to jail. Next will be defund the police talk. I agree it was handled wrong but couldn’t even the small town police do some training. And is it true they were waiting for a key..shoot the lock. I agree with keeping the people out of there but only if your doing something about it. Wonder if there is more video they are not showing. Certainly the schools have security cameras. If not they need it in the budget. Police could use it to see where the shooter was and know where to enter..

There was local police, sheriff deputies, state troopers and US marshals, many of whom wore tactical gear including vests and helmets. For some reason they waited for a border patrol team. Makes no sense.
