If he were a country without that capability, he would be striking a much more accommodating tone towards his invaders.

I watched Russell Brand’s podcast on this subject. The idea that hedge funds are making up to 300% profits because of the decline in the Ukrainian currency is intolerable. The money we’re sending them is covering those bets. Unacceptable.
By invading Ukraine and threatening Finland, Putin has demonstrated the need for NATO. Now the question is, is Nato an alliance worth joining.
