ESPN is officially a lost cause. The sports (?) network long ago leapt on the woke bandwagon with a vengeance. Although we occasionally hear murmurings from ESPN management that they want to return to focusing on sports at their sports network, their parent company, the wokest place on earth, Disney is having none of it.
This time they are taking aim at Florida’s parental rights’ bill, a bill that is very popular despite media attempts to lie about its contents.
To my mind, this bill doesn’t go far enough in setting the cut-off at third grade. Fourth grade (age 9-10) is still far too early to “teach” about sexuality or sex . . . replete with graphic ‘cartoons’ of same-sex oral sex. I’m not sure there’s a need for this to be “taught” in schools at all.
But over at Disney’s ESPN, they are in mourning—holding a ludicrous ‘moment of silence’—over the Florida legislature’s move to protect our very youngest and most innocent and to return decisions about when children learn about these things to the parents.
Note that the broadcasters don’t seem overly thrilled here, and they are very clear that the order for this lunacy came straight from Disney.

Walt Disney would be sickened by what this greedy bunch has done to his name - making the park unaffordable for middle and working class families, taking crackpot leftist political stands, bullying on a fading sports channel. So sad.
The people who control Disney are demanding full and unfettered access to your children. They need to be stopped and held accountable.

Yeah I’m glad I grew up in a time when we watched mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom and then the wonderful world of Disney on Sunday nights...those days are long gone.
