EVANSVILLE, IN—8-year-old Sara Yelden has always dreamed of being the best female swimmer in the world and someday winning the gold in the Olympics. However, after watching a man named Lia Thomas break every female swimming record in the book, she has decided to adjust her dream to just winning second place.
"I know that if I work very very hard every day, I can win second place someday," said Sara. "My Mommy and Daddy always told me that there was nothing I couldn't do, but then the schools started letting boys swim against girls so now I have to be more realistic."
Sara hopes to win a full-ride swimming scholarship to Stanford and become a veterinarian. Experts say that as long as no additional gender-confused men enter the fray to compete in women's swimming, she will have a good chance of achieving her dream.

This one is DANGEROUSLY CLOSE to being true, just based on a non-bee story that I read today, where the #2 swimmer for the NACAA, a real female, said she was just fine with Lia...implying that she knows that the best she can do is Second Place*, and she’ll accept it.
*and that’s only if no more men compete.
I believe Don Quixote had some advise about this in the 1600s.
The winner in literary competitions is always the King’s favorite. The true winner is 2nd Place.
Same now goes for athletic competitions.
Great literary reference. Love the Quixote.
I don’t believe her. She is just too scared to tell the truth.
Eventually someone is gonna knock this guy silly and all Hell is going to break loose.
Actually really not satire unfortunately
She better lower them more.
Wont be the only one competing by then.
Until the stupid for both sexes stops, its gonna increase.
I long for the good ole days when women were women and men were men and the women sang about potato salad while they did amazing body contortions.

“I don’t believe her. She is just too scared to tell the truth.”
It’s probably both, she knows #2 is the best possible for her, barring an injury by Lia (which is unlikely since he’s not even having to exert himself)...and she is scared to death of saying the wrong thing.
I don’t see how it won’t destroy women’s athletics, if they really follow through on their ideals, how can female sports survive at all? It’s insane.
Me too.
When women didnt demand spots on mens teams and tzke spots away from boys, or cause male wrestlers to forfeit because of obvious reasons why,
And when men didnt want to be on womens teams.
We should go back to that. You are only allowed on the teams that your God-given equipment dictates. Too bad if you FEEL ENTITLED or WANT TO MAKE A STATEMENT. Take it up with God. Born a girl, you’re only on female teams. Born a boy, you’re only on male teams.
You want to mix it up, no one is stopping you doing so ON YOUR OWN TIME with others who want to participate.
Why would second place be available?
There was a time in my life I could actually do most of that stuff. And doing a back flip off a trampoline was easy peasy.
Hard to believe it now!
There are days when gettin out of bed hurts!
I’ve always been a live and let live sort but all this tranny business is literally insane. It’s like they are intent on forcing the rest of us to participate in their mental illness or be sanctioned in some way by the powers that be. I can’t believe more people aren’t speaking up against this nonsense, it has just become so bizarre.
It is time for women atheletes to claim back the legitimacy of valid discrimination. By definition, having women’s sports discriminates against men by not allowing them in. That is not a bad thing, and the same needs to be applied to so-called trans women. Make Title IX mean something again.
title ix should be done away with completely.
men are not allowed on womens teams when there is no equivalent mens team offered.
there needs to be a better reason to have womens teams orger than “because boys have a team”. that argument doesnt work for men so its not applied equally, so women are special protecred classes higher than men. while they like that, that isn’t real equality and being legally treated just like men are.
I have no problem with Title IX. Men have plenty of sports opportunities (think football versus field hockey).
Gender fluidity is based on just as firm a foundation as radical feminism.
If Republicans could think strategically (or, if they actually wanted to win), they would prpose legislation requiring a specific percentage of Title IX scholarships to go to males identifying as females.
But they won’t, because they are The Loser Party.
