Best-selling children's author Matt Walsh spoke at Georgia Tech on Monday. His book Johnny the Walrus is a timely tale of innocence, identity, and imagination. Critics say the book is transphobic. Many of those same critics also refer to Florida's anti-grooming bill as the "Don't Say Gay" bill.
Walsh's speech was about “why men don’t belong in women’s sports.” This is another controversial topic critics say is transphobic. Walsh was being an ally to women who are often told to keep their opinions on the matter to themselves. Not everyone agreed, and they protested Walsh being allowed to express an opinion with which they disagreed, even if not everyone knew what Walsh thinks or why they disagreed with him. They just know Matt Walsh is an "idiot" and "dangerous to people." Like our friend here. Let's call him Chad.

Listening to those two twits reinforces my belief that the current “liberal arts” education track is useless.

The comment by the dancing iced coffee stand about how trans is proved by science points out that she wouldn’t know the scientific method or science itself if it bit her in her dancing ass!
The silly girl in that clip has apparently never taken a science class in her life.

One of my biggest beefs with supposed right-wing media - besides the fact that the Left pretty much has its way with just about any of them you could name - is that it’s all about setting up contests with them, and then let the straw-man games begin. (And it doesn’t matter who “loses” or “wins.”) These guys are continually setting themselves up as politicos or pundits. They go after targets and participate in the “owning the libs” farce which doesn’t really have any direct outward result except that people NOT jockeying for position to “work in media” are frequently victimized, not by a person or group, but by the process of some would-be pundit or “journalist” or whatever using them for cannon fodder.
The future of the USA is quite literally at stake here. These guys just want to have their names in print and have all the liberals on twatter sending them mean tweets and that’s the big dream right there. That’s why they never say anything about the jiggered election - THEY’LL LOSE THEIR PHONEY BALONEY JOBS if they say anything about that. They stir people up to protest and march and etc etc and often well-meaning people get arrested and hurt - and THEY take all the publicity for it, and ultimately it does no detectable good.
Keep in mind this guy is a rampant catholic and really, I’m having a hard time believing that any practicing catholic is trustworthy or believable these days. Someone who would make excuses for P00p Francis? Say “the catholic church is coming back and it’s going to be better than ever” and meanwhile our “catholic” president is a staunch advocate of abortion on demand - among other atrocities - and the bishops won’t even DISCUSS excommunicating him.
Also he thinks pr0n is “freedom of speech” but works of fiction that offend him should be suppressed and their authors persecuted. lol :D *sings* The Inquisition, let’s begin! The Inquisition, look out, sin....
Why are these lightweight right wingers so emotionally (and probably financially) invested in speaking at left-wing colleges where they know they’ll either get canceled or the show otherwise won’t go on for some reason? Then they get outraged. It’s a very predictable chain of events. Then they want regular schmoes who aren’t attention wh0r3s to come and stage a protest for “freedom of speech.”
You’re getting excited not about “freedom of speech” but about the journalism trade using mob-type tactics to turn people into followers. Why should their book sales matter to you? A lot of the time, if you buy one of their books and say you like it, they’ll lash out at you on some platform like twatter or gab - like “Oh, you bought my book, you liberal scum? YOU’RE AN IDIOT!!!”
They’ll try to fight with you even if you like what they’re doing. That should tell you something right there. (Also even the young among them are like having this sort of 1960s-style fantasy about them marching at the head of a huge column of pissed-off people and CHANGING THE WORLD; setting crowds on fire with incindiary rhetoric; STAMPING ON THEIR ENEMIES’ HEADS!!!!)
Anything that’s going to happen on a college campus - you should stay out of it. Unless you’re a student or teacher there, in which case you already have enough problems, stay away from college campuses. If you paid a bunch of $ for your kid to go to a certain college and then find out it’s full of libwads - you’re not that good with money, are you? And it’s not my problem.
Stay away from college campuses. I’m telling you this because I DON’T WANT FOR YOU TO GET HURT and it’s too late to fix the situation. Just let them go down.
