According to an anonymous whistleblower letter posted by Air Force Times, Pentagon policy makers are promoting “diversity and inclusion” at the expense of high, uncompromised standards in an elite Special Operations Forces command. The letter focuses an unnamed female captain who began training with the Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS) in 2018, hoping to become the first woman to join a combat controller team (CCT).
The female captain dropped out of physically demanding combat controller course exercises several times, but unlike male trainees with similar difficulties, Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) officials kept extending special concessions to keep her in the program.
The detailed anonymous letter reported 11 examples of unusual concessions that AFSOC extended to retain the female captain, even though she had not met longstanding standards and repeatedly dropped out of essential training events, such as rigorous diving exercises and solo land navigation. Air Force Times, which confirmed details with a second source, obtained performance forms and score charts that appeared to support the whistleblower’s letter, and submitted them for comment to AFSOC Commander Lt. Gen. Jim Slife.

A double standard is the ONlY standard with the left.
I think everyone has known this. I know I did. Far too many people in the military shouldn’t be there or at least not in their respective career fields.
This has been common knowledge for decades.
The US military doesn’t have double standards, I thas multiple standards.
There are multiple standards by sex, age, race, commissioning source, political connections, family connections, etc.
Wait. Isn’t land navigation map-reading? doesn’t take much physical strength to read a map and carry a compass. It just takes brains and a sense of direction.
True. You have to be able to find the enemy in chaotic situations. If you can’t find them, you can be SURE they will find you first.
You know something is badly broken when it takes somebody giving up their career to point out a deficiency or to take the clot shot.
We are so Pence’d
War with Russia? I highly doubt it would be a war as our side would quickly run out of technology and what’s left would be slaughtered.
“This has been common knowledge for decades.”
I noticed they dropped standards for women many years ago. And women have died because of it.
The left wants us to believe in La-La land. We will pay a high price.
Ya think?
“Whistleblower Gives Evidence The Pentagon Holds Female Soldiers To Lower Standards”
Of course they do. I’m sure if we ever go to battle against Muslims in the Mid-east they will respect women combatants and treat them just like they treat their own women.
Soft Something ••••
The Russian recruitment video is inspiring. The American recruitment video makes one want to vomit.
If anything, they lowered the standards for females. It's been that way for years. It's no difference than their continually lowering the standards in the school systems.
******** This has been common knowledge for decades. *******
When I was in the Air Force (ages ago) we started having females in my aircraft maintenance shop. The single guys were all excited.
However, one day we sent one of the females out to bring in a heavy component.
An hour later she returned without the component.
She was asked, “What’s wrong”?
She said, “Nothing. I got it disconnected but it’s too heavy for me to lift out of the plane.
So we had to send one of the guys out to fetch it. The honeymoon was over.
Anyone can jump out of an airplane with a static line, girls do just fine. But, picking up that 90 lb rucksack and climb in 3000m elevation suddenly the vast majority of women can’t do it.
Task, Condition, Standard. It’s the Condition that kicks ass every time. I have known many very fine women soldiers, but certain tasks, under certain conditions are beyond their physical capabilities. It’s the responsibility of their leaders to never put them in that position. Combat is not the movies.
