"Other fast-food chains, including rivals to Domino’s, have also increased their prices due to rising costs.
Domino's Pizza announced that they are reducing the number of wings in its $7.99 carry-out offer from ten pieces to eight because of rising food and labor costs.
Additionally, wings will only be available for ordering online, no longer by phone.
Domino's CEO Richard Allison told CNN Business, that the company has had to deal with "unprecedented increases" in food prices. He explained that the costs of its ingredients have increased eight to ten percent compared to last year. That is significantly higher than the usual hike of 3 to 4 percent. ..."

This is the same CEO who recently said he wanted to hire Afghani and other imports rather than actual Americans, so I added Domino’s to my boycott list (and yes those work, which is why the left always does them).
They’ve ordered their chickens to grow smaller, leaner wings...
stopped to get 3 pieces of chicken at KFC 2 years ago, with some fries- no soda- already had a soda- the woman told me “That will be $22.45 (or whatever the number was- it was 22 something)-
i said “Excuse me?”
She said “I know, prices have really gone up because of the pandemic-”
so i said “Cancel my order” and went and bought a $5.00 precooked whole chicken instead-
A Panera Pick-2 with a cookie is something like $18 now.
too rich for my blood-
Pay more get less...What a con job.
Best way to defeat this bull s**t is to cut your spending in every direction when ever possible. I have no problem only buying bare necessities while suspending all additional purchases.
Then as an added kick in the crotch, the service fee is a taxable item (unlike carry-out food in Ohio), so they add an extra 7 cents sales tax for the privilege of paying an extra service fee.
Just be honest and raise the price rather than trying to sneak an extra buck on the bill.
Oh, while I'm ranting, they also automatically add a tip for carry-out. You have to select "other tip" to change it back to zero. I tip (pretty well) for table service - not sticking a bag of food on the shelf for me to grab.
Biden’s Buffalo Wings, pay more, get less.
The Maduro diet. Now available in the U.S.
Or just get them young like the Colonel. I jokingly call KFC Kentucky Fried Chick because the pieces are so small compared to other chicken restaurants.
Bought a large pizza yesterday with peppers, onions and sausage; $22.50. I should have canceled the order but I was hungry, the Mrs. was expecting it and the pizza shop smell put me in a glutinous trance. But when I got it home, told the Mrs to enjoy it as it is the last one. Time to get on my brick pizza oven project.
I like their honey BBQ wings better than their pizzas. And now we’re getting less of them for the same price!?
Yikes - I stopped going to KFC for that very reason
The sad thing is they had as $1 sandwich or something and wedge fries that were cheap.
But that was about 2004. The America we remember.
I don’t know about Dominoes, but the price of uncooked frozen chicken wings at Aldi has DOUBLED in the last several months, from $8 a bag, to $15! Fresh ones at our local grocery store are $5/lb, which is even worse!
Heh got in the car several hours ago and turned on the radio which is rare (my Leonid and Friends CD) blew out a speaker oops - couple weeks ago - could have been an Album Slaughter song though.
ANYWAYS, on comes the KFC fake chicken commercial - I had read the thread a couple of hours before.
Yeah but no more mean Tweets!!
I was trying to find Marie Callender chicken pot pie at the store last night -— all they had was “plant based chicken” pot pies. Yuck. No thanks.
10. Biden’s “hamburger” is “more bull, less meat!
