Bought a large pizza yesterday with peppers, onions and sausage; $22.50. I should have canceled the order but I was hungry, the Mrs. was expecting it and the pizza shop smell put me in a glutinous trance. But when I got it home, told the Mrs to enjoy it as it is the last one. Time to get on my brick pizza oven project.

I was watching the ice gold show,,and a fella, bought z large, pizza for the 3 man crew, drove it all,the way out onto the ice to,the camp, said it cost, him almost $40 for,the pizza, being so remote in Alaska prices are insane up,there, and next thing you know, the husky that was sitting next to them snuck the box of pizza while, the folks, weren’t looking, and gobbled it down. Lol

I haven’t bought pizza in years- we don’t have a good one around us. Store bought ones aren’t the greatest in my opinion. I used to,love the steak and pepper hoagies with melted cheese, but I’d probably be shocked to buy one today.

There are some pretty cool but kind of expensive high heat broiler standalone ovens- I wonder if they could cook,pizzas- imdo,I do, them, and I could make my own hoagies and steaks would, steaks would, resteraunt style cooked with the high heat sear on them.

My measure of inflation is the price of locally brewed craft beer at local sports bars.

After years at $6/pint, one bar went up to $6.50 and another to $7/pint.

The horror!
