American supermarkets continue to suffer shortages of food and other commodities as the supply chain crisis worsens thanks to new global lockdowns due to the omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus, despite the fact that it isn’t serious.
Still, as workers get sick from the new strain, productivity has suffered and now, because Joe Biden’s hapless regime has done little to nothing to get the supply chain back up and running, any little disruption becomes a big deal.
The Los Angeles Times reports:
The highly contagious Omicron coronavirus variant is disrupting already stressed food supply chains, sickening so many workers that more shortages at grocery stores are all but certain.
Supermarkets have been struggling to keep food fully stocked throughout the pandemic as a result of labor shortfalls in every part of the food system, including farms, manufacturers and distributors. Now Omicron is bringing the problem to a new level. The variant is raging across the U.S. and raising health concerns that many thought vaccines had put to rest. Schools and day cares are seeing closures again, keeping more Americans from work.
Combined, all of those things are going to lead to higher wages as businesses try to attract enough workers, which in turn will result in higher prices for goods, worsening Biden’s inflation.
“We’re already seeing bare shelves,” Bindiya Vakil, chief executive of supply-chain consultant Resilinc Corp., told the Times. “Labor shortages due to omicron are going to exacerbate the issue.”

Some of my favorite foods already disappeared prior to Covid. Since then, there have been various shortages. While some shortages are temporary, there has been, for example, no chocolate-flavored yogurt at any stores in my area for at least six months.

Here in Indiana, prices are up. But, being in the middle of farm land, we still have plenty of food. The lady down the way brings me fresh eggs and I stocked up months ago. But, it’s Indiana and it’s winter. You’re a fool if you don’t have extra food when the snow comes. I’m sure I could find a local farm kid at school to get beef and chicken from if I needed it. Seems it’s good not living on the east coast or in the city.

Whoever said they were smart. Perhaps their parents and grandparents were smart enough to rob the taxpayers over the past 150 years but now their gene pool is diluted and their wealth is the only thing keeping them afloat.

These are the “elites” that we are supposed to trust and believe in because they are supposedly so much better and smarter? Why? Because they have money.
Money is proof of neither intelligence or humanity. Rather it is more often proof of criminality, immorality and greed.

You can see where it says, first, Post Reply, then Private Reply, the third category is To 49. That’s the one that tells which post is being replied to.
Spend some time going around and clicking on things. Almost everything on FR is an active link that will take you some where.
After the To ## there is a category of View Replies. With that you can see all the comments made to that particular post.

I haven’t been to a normal store in a while. This is all part of the great reset brought to you by the one worlder aristocracy. Wake up will be serfs. It is almost too late.
Hope it teaches our so call citizens a lesson. They are the ones that put the fools in office over the years that caused this.
