Joe Biden touts “well-stocked shelves” as major retailer announces long list of shortages across the southeast

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Joe Biden made sure to remind Americans that Big Government is meeting the “needs” of the public, and that his administration is in full control over the food supply. Pretending that the economy is in a state of recovery, the Biden administration ignores the growing problems of rapid inflation and food rationing. Reading from his weekly propaganda script, Joe Biden touted that grocery stores were “well-stocked with turkey” and “everything else” that Americans “need.” He made the announcement at the same time Publix announced a long list of food item shortages across 1,280 stores.

“For all those concerns a few weeks ago that there would not be ample food available for Thanksgiving, families can rest easy today. Grocery stores are well-stocked with turkey and everything else you need,” Joe tweeted on the eve of Thanksgiving. A year ago, Biden and the Democrats were the masters of doom, claiming that a “Dark Winter” was upon Americans. Less than a year later, Biden ignores the systemic economic and food supply issues that are impacting Americans with low to moderate incomes.

Himself had a hungry man turkey tv dinner because we can no longer afford real turkey dinners, thanks to Pedo Joe’s gas prices.

So FJB.
I hope he enjoyed his feast.

What I have been noticing they spread things across the shelves in the grocery to make the shelves appear full but there are many items missing. Has to be a major PITA when things come in.

Resident Biden is apparently the heir to Hoover and Carter.

I remember that I think it was the Washington Post that “documented” something like 22,704 lies by Donald Trump. They seem not to have undertaken the same effort with Biden, presumably because he lies so often they can’t count that high

No need to YELL. Reality is they’re doing it much more than they ever did. Cranberry sauce was very hard to get this year apparently. It’s a must to me why we seemed to be better off in year one of Covid in terms of labor and supply around the holidays and gas prices.

Raquel Welch still has a “well-stocked chest”. The rest of the country, not so much.

Joe’s Depends must be empty, for now, because he is so full of....excrement. Grocery and other store shelves look like a little kid’s smile—featuring big gaps.

Well stocked...

Right, and there are no US troops in Baghdad.

Locally, things are not as bad as the low point early on in the scam-demic. However, they are not nearly "normal" as compared to say mid 2019 either.

There are some empty and thinly stocked sections of shelves. There are some areas that are stocked with oddball stuff I'd never seen before. (particularly spaghetti sauce of all things)

Paper products seem ok, produce runs hot and cold, some days full, other days looking pretty scarce. Canned goods, jarred goods, and dried goods sections - you can always find empty shelves in some section or another. I don't think our local store has been fully stocked since February of 2020.

Bakery and meat departments seem ok, though I think both are running just a little bit lighter on stock than before. Some of the cuts of meat don't look all that great either.

“Grocery stores are well-stocked with turkey and everything else you need...”

Why would the most successful president ever, according to the Witch, feel the need to announce that? The United States just a short while ago was feeding the world.

If you aren’t stocking up on canned food right now you are going to be sorry! Prices are going to go up, buying it now before it doubles in price is the only way to hedge against inflation. Your paycheck won’t be able to keep up with the inflationary pressure.

No worries! To battle inflation the Biden Administration has developed a way to curb demand. Omicron. Takes care of supply chain issues too.

I would believe President JoeB IF Publix's weekly Flyers did not still have this same warning that it has had for MONTHS; "We've set purchase limits on key items and cannot issue rain checks right now. We apologize if some advertised items are out of stock, as supplies are limited. You can do your part by buying only what you need for the week so your friens and neighbors can do the same. Thank you."

In the past, Publix was quite good about 'rain checks' on advertised specials. If the item was exhausted at that location, you got a guarantee of quantity and advertised price for a good period, maybe 6 weeks I think. Obviously, this is now 'the good old days' and I know where I am pointing the finger!
