One Minneapolis man has taken pains to record all reported carjackings since 2020 on an interactive map.
Resident Steve Taylor created the map on Maps.co. It gives users the coordinates where each carjacking occurred, dates and times when they occurred, and even the distance between the locations of the previous and next carjackings.
Red pins indicate carjackings in 2021, while yellow pins indicate carjackings in 2020.
As of earlier this month, Taylor found that 492 carjackings have taken place in the city of Minneapolis since the beginning of 2021. That’s up around 40% from last year at this time, according to the Star Tribune.

The point is that it’s not Gone in 60 Seconds; it’s not a small bunch of people taking all of these cars. It’s a vast number of them. When word gets around, because it will (ghetto telephone is instantaneous almost), those remaining will kill first and ask questions later. Bad news.

The St.Paul/Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher does a weekly stream on youtube. Every Friday night at 9:11 PM Central time. 3-5 hours of what I call ‘ride along with the boss’.
He drives around the St.Paul area and takes viewers along.
It’s not exciting like COPS or LivePD as in reality TV crap.
There are some exciting bits here and there though.

I think the YT part is an afterthought, his main portal is Fakebook and supposedly you can comment there. He typically disables comments on the YT feed(a wise choice since a cop is a flame magnet).
One of his main priorities during his livestreams is carjackings and stolen cars.
A month ago he/they were outside a bar at closing and he correctly read the mood(during his livestream) as volatile. The very next night there was a shooting with fatality at that bar. He could tell while driving by......
