Have you ever wanted to have a Glock 19 and Glock 17 contained in the same gun? The Glock 19x just might have you covered. It started out as a submission for the military’s new sidearm, but it was passed on. The 19X was then made available for civilians to purchase where it’s enjoyed a favorable reception.

As for others, whatever floats their boat is fine with me.
A friend has one and it always goes bang when the trigger is pulled. Quite accurate also. Really if one doesn’t care about the looks and you could only have one handgun it’s not a bad choice.
To me it's like shooting a 2x4.
I could understand a 19L, though. (Grip length of a 19, slide/barrel length of a 17.)
Or better yet, a 26L (G26 grip, G19 slide/barrel.)
I own a Glock , but I find the Sig 365 is far superior, night sights, compact, 10 plus one-$499.
I don’t have one my friend does, but it is like shooting a 2x4. If you remember the old movie “Crazy People” the people in the insane asylum came up with an ad for Volvo cars: “They’re boxy but they’re good.” Same thing.
Any gun that you have in your pocket when you need it,
is better than the one at home in the closet.
There’s a reason they’re called Blocks. I currently own four, and appreciate the reliability and the ubiquity of magazines, but the ergonomics are far inferior to others I own, such as the M&P, P320 and PPQ.

Try the Steyr M9A1 ( or M40A1 if you shoot 40 cal). It is glockish and has all the good attributes of the glocks (and there are many) and none of the downsides. It also has the easiest to use sighting system of any handgun I have ever shot.
More brilliant analysis from 19FortyFive.

Love my Gen 3 G19. Only semiauto firearm I have owned in 30 years that has never malfunctioned for any reason.
