The problem with Florida is, it’s a big “in-coming” state and small “out-going” state. In other words, we need more trucks coming in to deliver than we need trucks to transport out of the state. There are more trucks that deadhead after they deliver within Florida. Being a shipping manager in the materials handling company, I understand what a problem with a shortage of trucks can be like.
They should refuse to drive until Bidet resigns and new elections, with no mail in ballots, or Dominion machines areused.
Aside from maneuvering a big tractor trailer around, which is obvious, there's the part unseen: That big truck has maybe an 18 or 24 speed NON-SYNCHRONIZED transmission. It takes months of training and practice to drive one.
...and no, that doesn't mean myself, either. I would barely have a clue what to do, and would probably destroy a transmission, just like anyone else.
So... this guy might be onto something, or maybe he might not be either. I haven't heard news of a "truckie" strike materializing in Australia, let alone the US. Something to ponder...
We haul a lot of European lumber out of Cape Canaveral.
The Euro mills put it there because you can truck it longer distances because the rate/mile on a flatbed is very cheap out of Florida.
This is because as you mentioned many more trucks go into Florida than come out.
This is similar to New England. We truck a lot of lumber from VT/ME as far south as SC. Again, this is because so many trucks end up in NE and there not as many trucks going south.
What ends up happening is you pay $4/mile to go into New England. Then $2/mile going back out. Florida is the same way.
The other thing that affects freight is the port that the ship comes into. It is much easier and cheaper to truck out of Baltimore or Cape Canaveral or Houston than it is out of Newark or Savannah or Charleston. It is even cheaper to truck out of New Haven, CT than it is out of Newport News, VA. Many times it is just a function of how many trucks typically deliver into that area.
Paper ballots and purple ink. Only in-person voting on Election Day!
You got me, kinda like The Bee, with the part about Afghans driving trucks...
It doesn’t work that way.

I know - it was a politically correct woke joke.
:)
I think he means the DOT limits on hours and miles you can drive in a day
Truckers are ALL talk and no action...
Back in the day we called um meat in the seat or steering wheel holders
Look in to the new trucks
They are automatic.(or can be. Some still order gear grinders because they don’t trust computers) They are called ultra shifts
Under all that air powered computerized junk is the transmission you speak of. But the transmission is computer shifted.
The hiring age requirement is dropping to 18. A bunch of hormone induced kids with little to no common science behind the wheel of a 40 ton loaded 18-wheeler. The personal injury lawyers are going to love this.
If truckers are even loosely coordinated / organized they yield tremendous power. Not only due to the immediate impact on the supply chain in the USA - but globally since there is already a huge backup of global sea freight shipping.
The freight issues negatively impact Xidens sponsors in China since they can’t get their goods to the big box stores and Amazon / those stores can’t get to the market.
Watch for another high tech globalist push for autonomous truck approval / prioritization on highways within the “infrastructure” boondoggle spending plans...
I agree with in person voting. But paper ballots have huge issues with fraud. Electronic counting is OK, as long as the system is able to be monitored.
What need to happen is that the dipwads that fake the count need to be worried about themselves, their families and their relatives if they cheat.
bare shelves? Where I live ALL SHELVES ARE PACKED with boxes in aisles waiting to be stocked on the shelves. This is WM but grocery stores shelves are not bare.
Cities must be worse. I just wonder if store Managers are new and don’t know how to order to keep items moving.
“just as a US Army lieutenant colonel has just tendered his resignation over this vaccine mandate from Joe Biden.”
Wayne should get his facts right.
L
Hey, Biden swears he drove an 18 wheeler.
