The University of Kansas student body president has no plans to apologize for sharing a “Death to America” tweet.
The student senate Twitter account and the @KUPresident account both retweeted a September 3 post that said “happy friday everybody. death to america” with a laughing emoji. She shared a different tweet after that that said “The more you read American history, the more the whole “Death to America” line sounds less like a terrifying, chaotic sentiment, and more like a perfectly rational, if anything remarkably reserved, statement.”
The student senate did not respond to a September 8 request for comment.
President Niya McAdoo told The College Fix that there will be a meeting next week about the social media posts.
“[W]e will be having a full senate meeting next week on Wednesday that will live stream to our YouTube,” McAdoo told The Fix via email. “Follow up on the re-tweet and the situation as a whole will be answered there! Thank you for reaching out,” McAdoo said, and included a smiling emoji at the end of her email.
McAdoo has continued to defend her statements on Twitter.
“It’s very telling that more people are concerned with a re-tweet opinion and not the actual racial and sexual violence that has happened in student senate and on KU campus,” McAdoo wrote. “Where is the outrage for Black and Brown folks? Where is the outrage for sexual assault survivors?”

Niya McAdoo, the newly elected University of Kansas Student Body President, has been an active voice for minorities, particularly Black people on campus, through their role as President of the Black Student Coalition and other activism.
Growing up in Columbia, Missouri, with her mother Denise Anderson, McAdoo was kind-hearted and one to try and rescue animals or give to homeless people they’d meet, Anderson said. McAdoo also grew up reading about history and African-American leaders through her own research as well as a booklist her mother assigned to her.
“Even as a young child, she always had such a big heart for people and animals,” said Anderson. “She’s always wanted for people to feel loved and she’s always had a very giving and servant’s heart toward every community.” Her mother regularly signed them up to volunteer in their communities from a young age. McAdoo organized a blue jean drive for abused women during her junior year of high school at Free State High School in Lawrence, Kansas. etc., etc., Get the picture?
It would be better if normal college kids starting treating them like they treated Trump supporters on campus.

On the other hand, should a student tweet “Death to Red China”, all hell would break loose on campus. How dare he! How insensitive! And that student would be expelled - gone, baby, gone.
Yes. In a correctly functioning society degenerate individuals like this would be ridden hard and ground into the dust where their worthless ideals and belief system belong.
