May not be as bad as it sounds. It’s an opportunity for discovery and open disclosure if pursued properly.
In Michigan, Gov. Whitmer quickly ordered the Sec. of State to erase all the machines “to have them set at zero for the next time we have an election.” Which meant vital evidence was erased, which she knew was under legal challenge. And all those mysterious shipments after the vote watchers were gone and the lights were turned back on as “someone” did “something” with windows blocked inside the rooms.
My point: They destroy the evidence of vote fraud and then sue anyone who dares to SAY it was possible vote fraud.
NOT a free country any longer.

It’s a motion to dismiss. If the complaint makes a full sentence in crayon that might, kinda, make some sort of claim it doesn’t get dismissed.
Dominion has sued many on our side for defaming them for saying they engaged in fraud. Hard legally obtained before and after evidence proving they engaged in fraud like this is INVALUABLE to the defendants, PEOPLE ON OUR SIDE. But fools can so easily SCREW UP EVERYTHING. If Dominion loses those lawsuits in court THAT IS HUGE, THAT WILL BE A GAME CHANGER.

Sorry but isn’t this what Gulliani, Powell and Lindell wanted Dominions to do to them? I mean they were begging for it for discovery. Then I see Lindell is pissed because he is allowing it to proceed.
It could be the judge knows it will give Dominion enough rope to hang themselves.
Many people have been praying for the wrong doing among us to be exposed.
May it be so, Lord. Let it be exposed for all to see.
No sealed discovery then.
Right or wrong, Dominion would be stupid to not sue.
No accusation against them has been proven...even if they were all true.
And their market position significantly diminished.
Not to mention, they have to act like they are totally innocent.
Even if everyone in the world knew they were guilty, they’d be crazy not to sue.

Another possibility is that the rule of law is more important than TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!, and that according to established U.S. jurisprudence so far the evidence indicates Dominion has a right to proceed with its defamation claims. Maybe they were defamed by Ms Powell and Mr. Lindell, maybe not. This is what lawsuits are for. Dominion and its employees have a right not to be defamed, and Ms Powell and Mr. Lindell have a right to defend themselves against charges that they have done so. You know, rule of law and all that.
Dominion doesn’t have a right as of now to a favorable verdict, but merely to proceed with its claim of defamation.
It’s important in a society that respects the rule of law not to judge the judicial system by its ruling, rather than by what the law says, and what happens in before and during the trial.
I’ll note that unless I am mistaken, so far Dominion and its employees in matters of defamation have yet to lose.
But maybe TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!, and so any court decision that goes against him (you know, like all but one during his several dozen lawsuits after the 2016 election, all but one of which failed at trial AFAIK, with the one exception being overturned on appeal, did) means the entire judiciary is top-to-bottom corrupt.
I dunno, maybe Mike Lindell and Sydney Powell are super-duper special, and so US defamation law doesn’t apply to them.

That a federal judge agrees doesn’t mean this judge is (along with the entire federal judiciary, I hear round these parts) corrupt. Nor does it mean he is engaging in some super-duper sophisticated strategy to allow Mr.. Lindell and Ms Powell to defame with impunity.
The extent to which many on this site have drunk the TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP! Kool-Aid since this awful man walked down the stairs in 2015 is truly disturbing. The country, and conservatism, are more important than TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!.
If you think the judiciary is this corrupt (or this devious),you should probably stop wasting your time posting on FR and take up arms.

The infiltrators want Dominion to win. Here is a fact. Never before have so many people been aware that their elections are rigged. There was no chance that anything would have ever been done about it if people were not aware. Awareness is always step one. A big question is are we too far gone to survive it? Everything is corrupt now.
1 billion dollars seems a tad excessive. It was a reasonable amount I’d take the case more seriously.
Are you saying the judge should rule in favor of Trump regardless of any evidence? Then he is no longer a unbiased judge.
Okay...I guess I'll bite. How exactly is this ruling "turning against him"? A judge is not supposed to be for or against anyone by default.
Allegations were made that they allege were lies and defamatory. The statements were in fact made. Now it will be adjudicated if they were false or had merit. Discovery should be interesting, which they will be entitled to as a defense.
We're still waiting for the promised "Kraken" ourselves...now approaching a year later.
