Another possibility is that the rule of law is more important than TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!, and that according to established U.S. jurisprudence so far the evidence indicates Dominion has a right to proceed with its defamation claims. Maybe they were defamed by Ms Powell and Mr. Lindell, maybe not. This is what lawsuits are for. Dominion and its employees have a right not to be defamed, and Ms Powell and Mr. Lindell have a right to defend themselves against charges that they have done so. You know, rule of law and all that.
Dominion doesn’t have a right as of now to a favorable verdict, but merely to proceed with its claim of defamation.
It’s important in a society that respects the rule of law not to judge the judicial system by its ruling, rather than by what the law says, and what happens in before and during the trial.
I’ll note that unless I am mistaken, so far Dominion and its employees in matters of defamation have yet to lose.
But maybe TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!, and so any court decision that goes against him (you know, like all but one during his several dozen lawsuits after the 2016 election, all but one of which failed at trial AFAIK, with the one exception being overturned on appeal, did) means the entire judiciary is top-to-bottom corrupt.
I dunno, maybe Mike Lindell and Sydney Powell are super-duper special, and so US defamation law doesn’t apply to them.

That a federal judge agrees doesn’t mean this judge is (along with the entire federal judiciary, I hear round these parts) corrupt. Nor does it mean he is engaging in some super-duper sophisticated strategy to allow Mr.. Lindell and Ms Powell to defame with impunity.
The extent to which many on this site have drunk the TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP! Kool-Aid since this awful man walked down the stairs in 2015 is truly disturbing. The country, and conservatism, are more important than TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!.

I am a long-time Freeper, and I completely agree with you that the rule of law supersedes any other consideration, party affiliation, political hero, or villain.
I am a Trump supporter, but not a worshipper, as he is just a man, flawed. I disrespect Cuomo but believe he deserves his day in court, to face his accusers, not to be tried in the media.
I want the truth about Dominion’s contracts, behaviors, and handling of the voting machines because I want to know the truth of the 2020 election, and I also want to know how long these machines & the software may have been mismanaged to achieve desirable outcomes, in spite of voter preferences.
I wish we could gear up for paper ballot voting for the 2022 elections, and some purple ink to permanently stain voters’ index fingers, until we get this mess sorted out.
We can’t get it sorted out until Dominion, other software, voting rolls, modems, access to computer records and data transmitters, routers, drives, proper and
timely backups, etc. are all available for outside independent and unaffiliated observers to analyze and report on their findings.
These should be debated in a court of law, and I do hope that is what the people involved at present are trying to accomplish.
While that all gets fought out in court, It should be easy and inexpensive to go back to the old-fashioned paper ballot. Precinct by precinct, none of the nonsense allowed in this past fake election. If we don’t do this, we really no longer have a country.
