The virus is easy to treat.
Russia also wanted Trump gone. In fact they were the linchpin as far as foreigh interference as they had the perfect cover with the whole “Russia Trump” angle.
Also Russia is still the Soviet Union, just smaller. But still Communist, and Putin is also a Communist.

They are plausible. I wonder if we will ever know. Certainly we have a giant Enemy Within and it is very discouraging. Hard enough to just fight the ChiComs.
The only parts on which I would disagree is that the COVID-19 was deliberately released. I believe it was an early, and unsuccessful prototype which was released in a laboratory accident.
The rest of the scenario proceeds from opportunistic exploitation rather than clever planning. "Never let a crisis go to waste" as the Democrats like to say.
The winners could be presiding over a country that is a heap of burning rubble. But they would be on top of the heap.

I'm sure you meant late 2019, not 2020 which would have been too late to affect the 2020 election held in Nov. 2020.
But I agree with you. Here's why I agree:
Because it it benefits China, Democrats, and RINOs (members of the UNIPARTY), who not only want, but actually need to have President Trump out of the way.
The timing was just too perfect, as it gave them the opportunity of several months time to beat up President Trump over his supposedly mishandling of the fake "pandemic", and also to change the rules of voting allowing massive mail-in voting to make it easier to steal the election, and even do things that have never occurred in an election in the history of U.S. elections, such as stop counting in 5 states, which are just enough to secure the election for Biden.
This could not have happened by happenstance. It had to be planned.
There are to many coincidences which indicate that it was all planned out. A novel with the same plot could not be so far fetched and still be published. Even Matt Bracken couldn’t have thought up this plot....

Not bad for a first draft. Needs more punctuation and a happier ending. Don't forget to include key points about magnets and 5g cell towers. It also helps if you include some more relatable characters in your story. You can either use real people and just make up stories about them, or you can create your own characters for the story. That makes it easier for your audience to relate.
