The Capitol protester whose feet were pictured on Nancy Pelosi’s desk is now claiming, through his lawyer, that he was subjected to inhumane treatment and torture while being imprisoned in a DC jail earlier this year.
Richard ‘Bigo’ Barnett, 61, claimed he was ‘tortured’ at the DC jail, citing episodes in which he was pushed head first into the concrete floor and held in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day.
In one incident, when he felt he was having a heart attack in jail, the Capitol rioter who put his feet up on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s desk said he was laughed at and denied medical attention.
The allegations were made in a ’emergency request’ by Barnett’s attorney Joseph D. McBride calling on Amnesty International and the American Civil Liberties Union to investigate the treatment and alleged ‘human rights violations’ of Capitol rioters at the jail.
According to the letter, he was exposed to “various psychological and emotional abuses,” such as being assaulted by staff, receiving threats against his wife, and being forced to live in “disgusting unsanitary conditions.”
He was also allegedly robbed of his stuff and subjected to sleep deprivation.

5 people dead is counting the pre-trial suicides of witnesses.
The US is like a banana republic with Reichstag fires, and corrupt federal police, except on a much larger scale.
Meanwhile the prisoners at Gitmo are gaining weight during their stay.
Don’t forget the SLAIN officer...
The way they are being treated is more of an embarrassment to your country than our current president is.
He WAS NOT slain.
He died of natural causes. Attested to by the Coroner’s report.
[[Cant believe it’s happening here.]]
Been saying right along that the left no longer even bother to hide their disdain and criminal acts anymore because they know that they control everything- and noone can stand against them because they have the law on their side- the corrupt law- we are seeing this fact play out right before our eyes as they illegally hold people as political prisoners—
Hell,, even the republicans in congress don’t give a hoot that it is happening-
The Stasi i mean FIB i mean FBI and DC police are enemies of Patriotic Americans.
They are to be examples for everyone else who dares disobey our government masters. You will not get a trial and you will be locked away, and soon, probably killed. The FBI is there to plant any evidence needed and Biden already admitted he doesn’t care what is constitutional. Who’s going to stop him? The Jellyfish Party?

My Comment : all this for a misdemeanor case of criminal trespass, while the Capital was closed.
I am surprized that they didn't charge him with 'being in the people house' without a ticket.
Where are our 'elected officials' who stand for the 'Land of the law' - they are deadly silent during human rights violations in our own country ?
Given their group cowardice, can we expect anything more from them ?
Speak up,..retire,.. or get the Heii out of the way !
Remember the old days when the Democrats were aghast at ‘rendering’ actual terrorists to foreign ‘black sites’ where they might receive some harsh treatment in an attempt to keep Americans safe?
And yet now the Democrats now operate their own ‘black site’ in Washington D.C. where they torture American Patriots because they are suspected of having wandered through the Capitol building?
Of course this guy also sat in Nancy’s $30,000 chair and desk, which, as a taxpayer, he helped pay for, so he is lucky to still be alive for that effrontery.
We have political prisoners here in the US. Any word out of Amnesty International? Yeah, didn’t think so.
Our founders obviously couldn't dream that we would eventually collapse, not as "they were surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses ", and the basic plan and platform, if adhered to would be sufficient to grow and strengthen this young nation.
I confess, I didn't really become aware until my first computer ('98) and the clintons when I opened the floodgates of political input.
I had always voted, but I was one of those, "my parents were, so I was" democrat voters.
Thank God I was educated in the '50's and early '60's and got a relatively uncluttered education.
I never should have supported “enhanced interrogation” during the WOT. A friend of mine warned me that such tactics could eventually be applied to Americans.
And here we are.
Same with no-fly lists. I was agnostic on those; now I’m against them. Their constitutionality is questionable, and now people want to extend them to those who don’t want foreign RNA in their bodies.
Something to be expected in a socialist society.
Gee... where is the ACLU on this.
The question of how German nazis could torture and kill their fellow citizens has been answered. The naive American is getting an education they hopefully will not forget.
Stunning how far we have fallen in such a short period of time.
>>Cant believe it’s happening here.<<
Believe it — just because we are told we’re better than communists, doesn’t make it so. Wait till the first prisoners are carried out in body bags or when the first announced executions take place.
Just don’t wait for a liberator to show up like many nations did. And don’t expect a Marshall Plan.
I wouldn’t eat as long as I was imprisoned. Let them carry me out just as a skeleton.
