Sources told Politico Trumka, 72, died of a heart attack.

Trumka was a very close ally to the Biden White House.

Story reminds me of time I was waiting at a home for a double date girl I had not met. The other couple and she had not gotten there yet so I was sitting with her mother in a nice cottage style house in NJ. Not having much to say to keep a conversation going, I pointed out the house was nicely appointed. My soon to be date’s mom blurts out, yeah, it was nice till Andy (her husband) got shot in front of home and bled all over the rugs last week! Seems Andy was a union VP and on the outs with the group. I was kind of surprised by all of it but it was a union matter and in NJ so I guess it was normal.
