Remember the old adage “my body, my choice”? Apparently that’s valid only if you want to murder your baby, for everything else, it would seem, the government has the right to tell you what you can and can not do with your body. This is what GOP Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was alluding to today when he threatened another nationwide lockdown if you refuse to be jabbed. Yet as Americans are threatened with lockdown, one thing that remains wide open is our southern border through which flow thousands of COVID-positive illegals.
I was talking with my buddy Craig about this yesterday and he summed it up the best when he said “this thing is getting ready to go sideways!”, and I think that’s about as close to the truth as you’re going to get. Things are coming apart from every angle, and the only place where you can trust what you see and hear is found within the pages of your King James Bible. Everything else has gone sideways.
Biden and the Democrats are coming for you, but so is Mitch McConnell. Sideways, baby, sideways.
FROM THE NY POST: “These shots need to get in everybody’s arms as rapidly as possible or we´re going to be back in a situation in the fall that we don’t yearn for — that we went through last year,” McConnell (R-Ky.) said at a news conference Tuesday, adding, “This is not complicated.”
Asked about comments from Utah Gov. Spencer Cox alleging that conservative pundits are killing people with their rhetoric, McConnell stated that he encourages everybody to “ignore all of these other voices that are giving demonstrably bad advice.” McConnell’s call to seek trusted and verified information about the virus and vaccines mirrors White House efforts this past week to counter false information that they say is spreading on social media and cable news. McConnell took to Twitter to promote his pro-vaccination remarks, tweeting a portion of them with the words “Get Vaccinated!” at the top of the tweet.

Mitch fears a real insurrection...he should.

And yet, the Southern Border remains wide open as unvaccinated illegal aliens are ferried throughout the country.
Do it! I want to find out once and for all just how much spine is left in this country.
I live alone, and have been social distancing since I retired in 2003, so other than having to wear a mask in the grocery store once a week, and for doctor appointments, my life was unaffected, and, I saved a $100 a month by not meeting my friends at the local casino. So McConnell can threaten all he wants, because I could do another lockdown standing on my head.
Yeah...I kinda always wanted to be a hermit...
So, “It’s your choice to take the vaccine,” but “You have to take the vaccine.”

Indeed, Ardern’s words seemed to echo comments made earlier this year in an op-ed in The New York Times that called for Joe Biden to appoint a “reality czar” in order to “tackle disinformation and domestic extremism” with particular reference to election fraud and information about COVID-19...
