I live alone, and have been social distancing since I retired in 2003, so other than having to wear a mask in the grocery store once a week, and for doctor appointments, my life was unaffected, and, I saved a $100 a month by not meeting my friends at the local casino. So McConnell can threaten all he wants, because I could do another lockdown standing on my head.

Same with us - spent ten years on four ships and deployed six times. A year at home with no watches plus an open bar? No problem.
I work from home, my home is modest yet comfortable, and I share my home with a good woman.
I will stay home, if that’s what my overlords force me to do.
But I’m not wearing the face diaper any more, except at stupid doctors’ offices. And I do mean stupid doctors.

Same here. Deeply Rural. Can’t even SEE another human being from my front porch. We did just fine. Bring it, Turtle!
I didn’t realize my normal lifestyle was called “shelter in place” til the lockdown.
