there was a group here that read the whole thing with a week by week summery and digest.
It was quite a few years back, but it was incredibly helpful and encouraging to read that way. The insights from other conservative minds here on FR kept it engaging and fun.

Not all the main characters were CEO’s, but I get your valid point.
Atlas Shrugged had heroes like Dagny Taggart and Hank Reardon. The USA has scum like Susan Wojcicki and Jack Dorsey.

I own the hardcover edition of Atlas Shrugged. "This is John Galt Speaking is my absolute favorite part of it.
I've read AS three times over the years. I still cheer Galt's speech, all 58 pages of it.

As we watch millions(?) refuse to take the shot and even more will refuse the boosters...they are just the tip of those who have started to dismantle the engine.
Others who have simply retired, chosen not to return to the ‘game.’ Have indeed gone Galt...even if they do not quite realize it fully just yet.
And then there are indeed the looters. Looters of the stores, looters of government handouts, looters of all types.
Year 0 has come and gone. Employers, recruiters all pondering where are the workers...no amount seems to attract them. And it won’t, until conditions change.
Lost count of the folks I know or do business with that decided to retire earlier than they had planned. One is/was a guy with two very successful restaurants that when the shut down happened he pulled the plug and closed both and cashed out. Gave his employees a decent bonus and went Galt.
There is a three part set of movies that do a decent job of covering the subject. I think it is available on Prime.

Exactly. Right now it feels very much like the opening chapters of Atlas Shrugged. It looks a little different, but the premise for many remains the same. Heck, they don’t even realize they have gone Galt or what it means to the world’s economy to just stop being productive or innovating.
But the cost of one’s life in that pursuit, when one is being looted by those who do not deserve it? Shrug.

Wishful thinking when Conservatives still frequent Twitter, Facebook, and other organizations that take part in total censorship. The idea of “Going Galt” is wonderful and would affect change if it weren’t so inconvenient for those stuck in routines.
