Here is excerpt from Just the News article:
The cost of gasoline has reached a seven-year high, and gas stations are expect to run out of fuel during the July 4 weekend.
The average national price for regular gas is priced at $3.10, the highest it has been since October 2014. The price is up 2% from Memorial Day and 42% from this time last year as COVID-19 pandemic restrictions brought demand to a near halt, according to CNN. snip Experts say the gas shortages expected to occur this weekend have nothing to do with the rising price of gas but are due to a shortage of tank truck drivers who supply gas to filling stations across the country.
More than 40 million Americans are set to travel for the three-day weekend, exacerbating the shortages.

$ 2.85 in Tucson for regular.
I was at a Murphy USA yesterday, they had/have gas, but they have a sign in the window that said, “Do to staffing shortages, this store will be closing at 6 pm daily”.
This was just off I-45 and 242 in The Woodlands/Conroe area of Texas.
Thought it was kind of interesting that they still can’t find anyone to work.
$2.92 here at BJS in PA with their credit card 10 cent deduction.Cheapest place around. In NJ it is $3.11 and average in PA is $3.15....all prices for regular.

They did not let the kung flu crisis go to waste - they have a whole new cadre of do-nothing lazy SOBs that will get paid more by the government than their self-limited skills can get on the labor market.
I just gassed up at Murphy’s for $2.76.
Up 7 cents from this past Sunday. Now at 3.13 for regular
Filled up today at Costco in Arlington, Tx, for $2.64 per gallon.
Don’t let it run almost to empty before going to the gas station, folks. I go fill up when it gets down to half a tank.
PING!
Has Texas done away with the $300/wk extra federal money yet?
Just use GasBuddy and its map.
It’s $2.70 at the Texarkana Sam’s Club.
I thought that happened at the end of last month, but maybe its the end of this month.
I drive a Honda Pilot—I usually use mid grade or premium :)
It is on my retirement hot-list :)
A leftist city council and mayor are trying to turn us into a copy of some of the Democrat controlled dumpster-fire big cities, but we’re not giving in without a fight, lol.
FReegards!
We hear reports of no gas at some rural stations in Colorado due to lack of truck drivers. I tend to fill up now whenever I drop below half a tank. Aspen area is supposed to be tricky. Some of those poor folks may be forced to fly private rather than drive.
Hmm when is the last time we had gas shortages...been a while.
Ah I mentioned that I had seen a post from Freeper had paid that much...and it was you...Could not tell where you were from—part of why I started this thread :)
Eh I have the app. :)

While traveling in Michigan, stopped at a station that had no power—entire town had no power. Was really glad I follow your rule!

taxes go up July 1 (state tax 51.1 cents, plus sales tax 2.25%). Tax increase is tied to a 2017 roads and bridges bill that automatically increases each year (with little to no accountability for where the funds go)
