For some reason I've had my doubts as to how well air fryers cook food despite hearing from people who are very enthusiastic about them. However, I remained curious about them and when I heard there was a sale on this air fryer, I decided to take the plunge. In this video we see the results of my first time using an air fryer.

I am over the top fussy about the TEXTURE of my chicken meat. This video reveals how well the air fryer worked in that regard.

I love the air fryer!
It’s a great new way to eat highly fatty foods!

I have a cuisinart one that is more like a toaster oven. It runs way hot - like 50 degrees hot. My other beef is it’s a bitch to keep clean. Don’t even think of cooking anything battered in it. Wings just taste better cooked in oil to me, so I fry them in a cast iron grill outside on the weber.

You sound like Nigel Bach of Bad Ben fame.
I may have to try one of those fryers. Love frying, but not cleanup and disposing of all that expensive oil.

This a a very cool toy. I did chicken wings last night. Some Famous Dave’s rub and a spray of light oil into the basket. Just amazing wings. I have used it for fried green beans too. Try broccoli florets — put them in a ziplock bag with a tablespoon of olive oil, a tablespoon of garlic powder, a shake of salt and pepper and mix and let sit for 30 minutes. Remove from bag and Airfry for about 10 to15 minutes. Crispy, delicious and awesome.

We have that one and also a full oven. Recipes and instructions have lower temperature settings. The oven automatically adjusts temperature lower if you select the ‘Convection Bake’ option.

” Remove from bag “
90% of those that try your recipe will miss this step.

I highly recommend the types WITHOUT electronics, such as this one (which I own the prior model):
https://chefman.com/product/3-5-liter-air-fryer-with-flat-basket/
To be clear for those unknowing:
An ‘air fryer’ is simply a self-contained convection oven with a basket rather than an oven grate.
Period.
Features vary, but I prefer simple. For $40, it’s a cheap experiment and, lemme tell ya: Best roasted veggies & french fries I’ve ever had!
(I’ve not yet tried chicken or other meats, but I assure you that with no temperature control, meat thickness and placement in the ‘fryer’ are key to results).

It sounds like you need to make the switch to air fryer.

Two objections. First, your video opened with Chuckles Schumer asking me to sign some petition so that my vote can be disenfranchised. Second, NO SAUCE? Where's the sauce? Something I'm hooked on -

Any gators in that canal? It's a lake. No gators but lots of iguanas.

I ordered one from Amazon, but as I was reading the instructions, I realized it was nothing more than an easy-bake sized convection oven. I have a convection setting on my real oven. So I returned the air fryer.
Not long after, found a great gadget that is like an elevated wire basket on a cookie sheet. That in my regular oven on convection setting, perfect french fries at last!! It's easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Sorry, I threw up when the Stacy Abrams’ commercial came on before your video, thus I didn’t make it that far.

Sauce is for wings. Fried chicken I use NO sauce. As for the ads, I have no control over them.

Texas Petes or other great hot sauce and butter is perfect for wings.
