The United States imported a rare cargo of 1.033 million barrels of Iranian crude in March despite sanctions on Iran’s energy sector, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed.
The cargo is only the second oil import by the United States from Iran since late 1991, data on EIA’s website showed.

Articles of Impeachment need to be filed by a House member NOW.
Impeachable, totally against the laws as written and legally signed by a US President.
I believe that was a seizure, not a purchase.
TREASON.
IMPEACH HIM.
DRAG HIM OIT OF OFFICE AND I TO CAPTIVITY FOE THE REST OF HIS DELUDED DAYS.
Fat chance of it happening, but a girl can dream.
Just pretend that wasn’t full of typos. I’m nodding off with my phone in my hands.
that SOB
Well, it’s official. I have terrorists in my gas tank.
PING!
This is highly impeachable. He’s importing from an axis of evil country. This means our taxpayers money is funding Iran and it’s military/terrorists.
I know a guy who went to jail for doing that.
this is not what GP is making it out to be; or at least it doesn’t appear to be.
GP is a fairly fact free zone. I wouldn’t get my news from there.
For some reason, I smell Valerie Jarrett behind this one.....
I do believe we’re experiencing odongo’s 3rd term.
That’s what I’m thinking too. Seizure.
Yeah, but Flynn is a disgrace, as many freepers say. THAT is the important thing.
WTF!
What country is this guy representing?
When can we impeach him?
This nonsense has got to stop.
He’s challenging anyone to do a damn thing about it. That’s what I thought. Nothing will happen. But just you wait until the line has been crossed! /s
Article said import, nothing about seizure. If Iran did not get paid for it they would be screaming.
It is being reported only on conservative sites. Don’t know how dependable it is.
Here is another source that says that the info comes from the EIA. Don’t know who the are.
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - The United States imported crude oil and petroleum products from Iran twice between the last two quarters despite Washington’s sanctions against Tehran, Energy Information Administration (EIA) data revealed on Friday.
The estimated import of 36,000 barrels per day in October 2020 and 33,000 barrels daily in March this year appear to be the first such purchases made by the United States from Iran since 1993 at least, the EIA data showed.
