If this thing is going to go down, nobody who “bugs in” will make it.
You’ll need to bug out to survive.

What if everyone bugs out to the same place?

If you “bug-out”, do you have to shoot everybody you meet?

"You’ll need to bug out to survive."
That's silly talk. If one doesn't leave their carefully-prepared and easily defended living quarters for destination unknown, they will die?
Absurd.

You’ll need to bug out to survive. To where?
IF you survive the trip, will you be 'the guy who showed up when the trouble started'?

I’m too old for that now.
However I do know where the deer live not far from here.

We bugged out 10 years ago. Moved off the East coast to rural MO Ozarks. Got 12 acres fenced in with meat goats. Got a garden. Got one hen left who's a real survivor. Lays an egg every day and I don't even feed her. Going to get some more fertilized eggs from the neighbor and let her raise them. If more than half a dozen eggs accumulate, she goes broody so she should set them and then raise them and teach them how to avoid the hawks that got her sisters. We lived off grid for the first 5 years and can do so again if necessary. Other than that, these doomsday prediction websites have been around for years but haven't been right yet. Sooner or later they will be but that can be said of a lot of predictions. Survivalists have been prepping for the sthf since the cold war and COVID is the closest thing to the shtf yet. (the vaccine-damaged, zombified population of “oblivions.”) That's funny right there.

Bugging out May probably be the only way to survive in a crowded Urban environment, but they’re a lot of areas where you’re better off to hunker down and count on your weapons.
I live in semi-rural Kentucky, I’m going to defend myself here rather than take off to starve in the woods

LOL, that’s funny. Where are you going to bug out to? Do you have a vehicle and enough fuel to get there? Will you be able to get down the road with all the crazies blocking the way? Once you get to wherever, do you have the comforts of home and supplies? Will you know the locals and who can you trust?
